About this property
Puget Sound - Hood Canal Water Front Home With Incredible Views
Welcome to The Point at Paradise Bay! Situated on a basalt point where Admiralty Inlet meets Hood Canal, this unusual waterfront property has spectacular 225 degree views of water, mountains, and wildlife. Enjoy unobstructed views of Puget Sound, Mt. Baker, Whidbey Island, and the Cascade Mountains from almost every room in the house. The Point includes 270 feet of medium-bank waterfront with two access points to the beach.
There’s something for everyone here: Golf in Port Ludlow, beachcombing, boating, hiking, the Olympic National Forest, or simply enjoying a quiet book in front of the fire and the view. During fishing season, catch Coho and pink salmon from the bank. Seasonal local events include brewfests, writers’ conference, and festivals for film, quilting, jazz, blues, wooden boats, and rhododendrons. Art galleries abound in Port Townsend and Poulsbo. Bremerton offers the naval shipyards and the undersea Naval Museum nearby. The great restaurants in this region are a wonderful surprise to first-time visitors and destination dining for many. Abundant wildlife is all around: watch eagles soar, hear the otters chirp, see the dolphins frolic, smell the fresh marine air, touch a sea star at low tide. Spot the curious harbor seal watching you. Occasionally even see deer on the beach! Watch the ever-changing marine activity: cruise ships, sail boats, tankers, and nuclear submarines.

Highlight of the property was the views of the bay and watching wildlife. Spacious accommodations. Great place for family getaway in the Pacific Northwest.
It is centrally located for playing golf in the area. After golf it was a great location to unwind and watch the marine life. We spotted sea otters, seals, and even jumping salmon. The views are amazing. If you're looking to be in the Port Ludlow/Townsend area you won't find a better place.
We had a great stay at this wonderful property. The location and amenities were perfect for our needs. I loved that there were multiple seating areas and 2 kitchens. Even though we didn’t cook, there were always cups, napkins, plates nearby. The pictures don’t give justice to the panoramic views. We would definitely stay here again!
We rented this house for a family reunion. Joel was very accommodating and responsive. The home was very spacious and clean with separate spaces so that we did not feel confined. The views are great and there are good beach walks in both directions from the house. It truly is a unique property and we made some happy memories there.
The views of the water were awesome and breathtaking. Otters visited in the beach in the morning and could watch them from the deck. We also saw seals and a bald eagle. The house was very clean. Check in was easy and there is room for 2 cars in the carport. We fit our suburban. .
We had the most wonderful stay at your beautiful home. There were 6 of us- friends from college 50 years ago and spouses. The house was clean and well laid out. Each couple had our own spaces with plenty of privacy. We cooked dinner and ate out on the patio. We spent lots of time walking the beach and looking out the windows. We saw eagles, otters ( lots of them just playing in the water), a seal, several kinds of birds, and raccoons. We had a hard time leaving and can’t wait to come back someday!
Stunning property in great location to explore the PNW
Our family stayed here for a little over two weeks to explore the PNW and escape the Texas heat. The layout of the house worked so well for us and provided plenty of room to come together or find quite time alone to read and relax. The views on the water were so tranquil and watching all the wildlife from the various deck areas took up much of our time. The location is a little remote but there are so many options close by and the ferry at your disposal - a 30-minute drive allows you to get to a multitude of amazing spots. Joel was great to work with and was so responsive to our questions and provided lots of great ideas for things to do in the area. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful home base to explore this beautiful part of the country.
This was our second time staying in this home, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The house itself is a gem: the downstairs and upstairs each have their own kitchen and living room, in addition to two bedrooms. There is plenty of room for people to gather or have their own space, all of it with incredible views. The foosball table was a major hit with our kids, and the deck with couches and loungers was a favorite place to hang out and watch the water and all of the animals. We saw kingfishers, eagles, heron, porpoises, and otters, as well as starfish, jellyfish, crabs and clams on our beach walks (the beach is just a few steps away!). We got our produce from the Chimicum Farm Stand and spent time shopping and exploring the restaurants of Port Townsend. It was all wonderful. If you are looking for a relaxing, nature-filled vacation, this is it!
If you are considering this home, book it. We (adults and kids) had an amazing week here. The house itself is very comfortable - with three indoor living rooms and a fabulous outdoor living room there was lots of space to spread out. The kitchens were well-stocked with cooking tools. Loved eating at the big table overlooking the Sound.
We spent most of our time watching the wildlife - bald eagles, osprey, kingfishers, otters, and loons were daily sights, and we saw porpoises on a couple of days and even orcas one magical evening. There are two sets of stairs leading to different areas of the beach - we all had a great time exploring the tide pools and taking beach walks, as well as swimming in the Sound.
We spent an afternoon shopping in Poulsbo, a morning on a whale watching tour, and another afternoon hiking in Olympic National Park. All were really enjoyable. Joel was very responsive and helpful in telling us about local restaurants and activities.
It was a very peaceful, relaxing week. Cannot wait to return!
Only one way to describe this home is incredible. We have stayed in a lot of homes and this one is clearly the best. Beautiful home, very clean and roomy for 8 adults. It felt like home. The ultimate amenity was the views! Located out on a point in Puget Sound the view was over 180 degrees of open water, marine life (otters, seals, Eagles etc) and we even saw a Submarine leaving for deployment, The Port Ludlow location was very convenient, centrally located, to go to Bremerton / Bainbridge Island / Seattle one way and the Olympic peninsula and National Park the other. Joel, was very easy to work with. He was always available if we needed anything. We would recommend this home to anyone and already plan to come back ourselves next year. Thanks, Joel for making the beautiful home available to us.
We LOVED the location and the house. There was plenty of room for all the family. Joel was great and gave us lots of suggestions - and some free oysters.
Property was set in a beautiful location with low tide beaches for great walks and the inside was set up perfectly for our family and was well stocked with kitchenware and laundry soaps. Highly recommended.
