Your heart, mind and soul will rest at ease in the comfort and luxury of this just renovated and beautifully furnished beach cottage. Perfect for intimate family gatherings (a great overflow house for grandparents), a best friends getaway, or as an upscale executive retreat! On the quiet west side of the island - just 3 streets away from Bird Island - you'll enjoy 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a gourmet kitchen. Enjoy new furnishings, the softest cotton sheets and coverlets, plush towels and unique art throughout! (Regrettably, the house is not so suited for tweens or younger but we're happy to recommend neighboring homes that are and can support multigenerational families!)

A home away from home

This house was very clean and condiments, linens, and towels (bath and beach) were provided. Ping pong table was a great addition. Highly recommend this house!

Hearts Ease does not disappoint. Excellent property and well maintained. Beds are comfy and luxurious. Perfect beach getaway! Cannot recommend it enough :)

Great family stay

House was great! Short walk to the beach. House was just as described. It was fully stocked with beach items which made the packing easier. Beds were comfortable as well.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It is just as described and a short walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed riding around Sunset. Highly recommend watching the sunset over Bird Island, coffee at the local store, and walking to the Kindred Spirit mailbox. There is music in the park on Wednesday evenings and vendors on Thursday mornings. Highly recommend eating at the Boundary House in Calabash and Ocean Isle Fish Company. Bills Seafood had the best steamed crab legs. We can't wait to go back.

Absolutely perfect in every way! All furnishings were comfortable and family room was large enough for our family to enjoy movies on rainy afternoons. Meticulously clean and kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. Organized, thoughtful and so relaxing! Host, Janet, was great! Can’t wait to stay again!

A little bit of heaven

We absolutely loved our time at Heart's Ease! So Clean! This was the cleanest and most well-organized beach house we have ever stayed in and it was SO appreciated! Everything was thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed (and MORE!) for the kitchen, for our beachtime, for our relaxing at the house and for having a WONDERFUL vacation!

We all agreed it was perhaps our favorite vacation rental. Everything you might need was there, with generous supplies of the essentials. The location was great—just a short straight walk to the beach access. The house was charmingly and comfortably decorated and very clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Unique and well maintained

The perfect best friends getaway rental. This home has so many thoughtful and unique touches throughout. It’s an adorable cottage. Cute kitchen that is well stocked and very organized. Peaceful bedrooms with comfy beds. Super clean. Beautiful artwork throughout. Quiet street. We loved our time at Hearts Ease. Can’t wait to stay there again.

Best Teacher Getaway Ever!

Five teachers needed a break and this property was amazing and perfect for us. It had everything we needed (except a coffee maker) and more!! We can't wait to rebook for next year!
