This property was great for a larger group, plenty of beds. Property is shared with a carriage house, but we had no problems with the tennant there when we spent time outside.
We loved the historic home and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Debra sorry for that experience. The front door must have been unlocked for that to happen. There is also a chain lock that can be locked from the insides, a "double check lock." Both locks had to be unlocked for the door to be wide open. The back door likewise has a lock that you lock when you need it locked. The back door had to be left unlocked also to be wide open. I know you had 3 children, could they have left the doors open?
Great vacation rental for either staying in or going out. Made lots of good memories catching up with old friends around the fire pit. Owners were very responsive, very easy to check in and out.
beautiful house. very large and accommodating. Just we knew about the airplanes that fly by all the time, The owner made sure that there was plenty amenities and we did not need to bring very much with us.
A house with loads of character in Old Louisville neighborhood. Beds comfortable, kitchen(s) more than “just functional,” lots of good outdoor space. Great communication from the host, easy check out, very clean house. There’s a good coffee shop and pizza very close by. We walked to/from UL stadium for a game, drove to whiskey row in minutes, and day-tripped to Bardstown. This is a house/host you come back to.
We really enjoyed our stay! It was close to town so convenient clean with lots of outdoor space to relax and have a game night. Owner was easy to reach and helpful with local suggestions. Beds were very comfy! Would stay there again in a minute!
The home was just as described - beautiful with historic details and very clean. Annie was a super host, very easy to communicate with and offered great recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again.
We stayed for a week of bourbon tours. The location was perfect and the house was perfect for relaxing after our busy days on the bourbon trail. Annie is a great host and very accommodating. I highly recommend this property for any sort of visit to Louisville.
This house is amazing. Lots of stairs for our older group. We are from a very small town so staying in the heart of the big city was a journey. We enjoy our stay and would do it again. Thank you for a good nights sleep after a long day of Fabric stores.
While the property has a funky layout, it worked great for us. It is well supplied and stocked and is in a good location a short ride from Downtown and the 4th Street Live venues.
Thanks Annie for the great stay!
