About this property

King's Cross 6 Bed 6.5 bath

Are you a discerning witch or wizard, looking for a destination where nature will replenish your magic and luxury will soothe your senses? Then come, stay a spell at King’s Cross, Hochatown’s most enchanting cabin.

Conveniently located just a few minutes’ drive from Beavers Bend State Park, restaurants and entertainment venues, yet nestled amongst the towering pines, handicap accessible King’s Cross will transport you to a bewitching world where your family and friends can unwind and spend time recapturing their magic.

From the moment you cross the threshold, you’ll sense the power of your exquisite accommodations. The soaring two-story foyer will captivate you, while the ornate Mirror of Erised will reflect your smiling face and no more—for what desire could possibly surpass the happiness you’ll feel upon entering this cabin with your loved ones?

Original oil paintings hung throughout the cabin will entreat you to explore, and the sorting hat will send you on your proper way. Are you brave and chivalrous or loyal and true? Perhaps you’re ambitious or witty. Or maybe, just maybe, your wisdom can only be matched by that of a headmaster. No matter the outcome, King’s Cross has an opulent chamber waiting just for you. Sleeping accommodations are as follows.

Downstairs scarlet and gold bedroom:
King bed with handicap accessible en-suite bathroom featuring a shower with body sprays and a jetted tub

Downstairs blue and bronze bedroom:
King bed with private fireplace and full en-suite bathroom

Treehouse phoenix bedroom (enter via rope bridge):
King bed with private balcony and en-suite powder room

Upstairs yellow and black bedroom:
King bed with private fireplace and full en-suite bathroom

Upstairs emerald and silver bedroom:
Queen bed with private balcony and full en-suite bathroom

Upstairs scarlet and gold common room:
13 twin bunk beds with sitting area, Quidditch bean bag game, shuffleboard and full bathroom

When the glory of the outside beckons you from your chamber, you’ll find plenty of options for your entertainment. Gather round the stone fireplace or the fire pit or play a rousing round of golf on the expansive putting green. Explore the rustic, two-story play hut, where a magical creature might surprise you, or soothe your muscles in the bubbly cauldron (ahem, hot tub).

If entertaining an entire school of family and friends is in your plans, then King’s Cross will accommodate. The stunning stone and glass building situated adjacent to the main cabin provides abundant indoor and covered outdoor flex space, and inside the main cabin, the dining room and kitchen seat up to 13. For whipping up potions and tasty meals, the fully-equipped kitchen features a chef’s cooktop, a high-end oven and microwave and a spacious refrigerator. Too tired to use your magic to clean all the trenchers following a delectable feast? Then let the quiet dishwasher do all the work while you kick back in one of the living room’s custom sofas.

King’s Cross offers high speed WiFi, and the living and common rooms both feature smart TV’s. Each chamber also has its own private TV, where you can choose to watch one of the many available channels. The kitchen pantry houses numerous board games, and in the foyer, you’ll find the entire collection of Harry Potter books. King’s Cross offers plenty of nooks and crannies to explore, too. Have you found the owlery or Harry’s cupboard? Have you stumbled across the spooky alley? If not, keep searching! You’ll surely find them around the next corner . . ..

Impeccable quality place and stay!
This cabin was beyond magical! We utterly adored the Harry Potter vibes throughout and it added immensely to our weekend. It was comfortable, large, had all the amenities we needed and was close to everything we needed. One of the coolest homes we have ever stayed in!

Family Time
Choose King’s Cross to celebrate my husband’s 60th Birthday. All 4 of our children, their significant others, and our 8 grandchildren came. This place was awesome, plenty of bedrooms and the bunk room for the kids was a big hit! The kitchen was a chef’s dream. The living room was big and comfortable (especially with the fireplace going). Each of the bedrooms had their own bathroom and were beautiful. The deck had a comfortable seating area and a beautiful fireplace. The hot tub was a big hit with everyone. Outside the kids enjoyed the fort, putting green and the fire pit. The pool table was a great place for the adults after the kids went to bed. Everything was convenient and easy to get to. I would definitely recommend this place. Perfect for families with or without kids!

Magical!
It really felt like we were in Hogwarts castle! It was insanely beautiful and very clean. The entire property was amazing and so much fun to explore. Even though it was enormous, the entire place felt so cozy. We really loved it. The only bummer was that there wasn’t Harry’s bedroom under the stairs as pictured at the time we booked and the hot tub didn’t work. Aside from that, it was truly wonderful.
