The cabin is located in Talmont Estates and sits up above Lake Tahoe with panoramic views of the lake.
The Lake Tahoe Park Association is a private, gated beach that you'll have access to while staying at this property. Having access to this beach is the next best thing to staying on the lake as you'll be able to enjoy lakefront privileges such as two private piers, private swim area, picnic / bbq areas (reservations are recommended), basketball court, bocce ball court, horseshoe pit, grassy lawns and more. Note that the beach has limited morning hours in which dogs are allowed - see sign posted at beach for additional details.
Many of the most desirable Lake Tahoe attractions are under 20 miles away. Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley resorts are just 10 miles away, offering a full menu of both outdoor and luxury activities. Ski at Homewood Resort, just five miles south. Eight miles north is the dog-friendly Carnelian Bay beach. Meanwhile, Tahoe City Commons Beach is just three miles away where you can enjoy free outdoor concerts and movies during the summer time months. Enjoy Firesign Cafe (arguably the best breakfast spot in Tahoe) just down at the bottom of the hill along with the popular West Shore Market just across the street. Or, if you're desiring lakefront dining, the ever popular Sunnyside Restaurant is right there, as well. You can also catch the paved bike trail and head out for miles of leisurely enjoyment.
If you want to discover more North Lake Tahoe attractions you won't have to look far. The popular Kings Beach is only 12 miles away, and offers a sprawling sandy beach and is surrounded by tons of family-friendly restaurants and watercraft rentals. For a bit of history, head up to Truckee, right off of I-80. Hiking and biking trails blanket the area; you may never traverse the same one twice.

They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).
