Super Location, but very old furnished house with bad Novasol-Service
The accommodation is well located inside the quiet forest of Dueodde. It is not far away to one of the most beautiful beaches of Bornholm. It was easy to find and the keys were found quickly in a code-locked key box.
When we entered the house an old-smelly odor reached immediately our noses. House and its furniture definitely need a renovation to achieve a standard level again at least. The first entry in the guestbook was made in 1986. And except the white painting of the wooden walls, it seems that nothing changed at all since then. Furthermore the main circuit breaker was set to off, it was not easy to find and access the fuse box as it is installed in the attached shed, where a lot of stuff was stored. But there was no information beforehand by Novasol.
As we decide to do the final cleaning on our own, Novasol shared a cleaning checklist which means an impudence to us. When we checked the degree of cleanliness, many points were found not met and done. I complained about that via the chat application which recommended to call the hotline which adviced to write a mail. Seemed to be kind of delay tactics and to make it as complex as possible. Since today I haven't received any feedback from novasol@novasol.de. Very disappointing. In the end, we decided to leave left the house as clean as we found it upon our arrival.
