This property was advertised as an entire home, which is untrue. It is an apartment at the back of the owner's home and felt like we were under supervision from the hosts. The property details also changed between the time that we booked and when we arrived - it originally said 2 bedrooms (sleeps 5 with the sofa bed) and a pool, but after we got there and saw the place, we went back to the listing and it said 1 bedroom (with a single bed in the area between the bedroom and the washroom and space for 2 on the couch) and communal pool. We booked this place because it said entire home and would have chosen another place to stay if we had known we would be sharing the pool with the owners.The second day of our stay, when we came back from an outing in the heat, the AC and WIFI had been turned off and I later got a message from the host that said he let himself in to the unit to turn them off because he saw that they were on from his app that shows energy consumption. We told him that we did not want him to do this again and he respected that (as far as we know), but he should not have done it in the first place - it is against VRBO policy and made us concerned for the safety of our passports and personal belongings. It was still a beautiful place to stay, but things were left out of the listing and it wasn't the private stay we were hoping for. The owner's dog also came into our area of the yard frequently, including while we were eating and drank from the pool while we swam.
