We (5 adult siblings) stayed here for a few days and absolutely loved it. The house is perfect for small gatherings. It's fully furnished with everything you could possibly want/need. We will definitely be back!Cambria is such a cute town. Be sure to visit the shops/restaurants when you stay here.

Lovely property in beautiful Cambria! We enjoyed a 4-day getaway from the heat in Los Angeles. The property was just as described and very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed spending time at the coast, watching the sunsets and the elephant seals (up the road on Hwy 1), as well as wine tasting in nearby Paso Robles. Highly recommended this lovely home for couples and families.

We loved our stay at Park Hill. The location was wonderful, with close access to hiking trials and a 2 minute drive to the beach or town. The house is comfortable and has great light but we actually spent alot of our time and ate our meals out in the front courtyard which we enjoyed very much. The bathrooms are a little dated but clean and roomy. We were a group of four adults and there was plenty of room. We were all very pleased and really enjoyed our time together there. We would definitely return again or recommend .

Property was in a great location. It was clean. It is an older, dated property located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Because of the age there were things that were quirky but we figured things out. Because we were experiencing a heat wave (during the scarecrow festival) it would’ve been nice to have screens on the doors to get a cross breeze in the evening. The information book that contained things to see & places to eat & prices was very out of date (pre Covid). A checkout list posted in a prominent place would’ve been helpful. It took us a while to find the trash cans out by the mailbox. The hot tub was nice but we couldn’t find where to turn on the lights so we enjoyed it in the dark. The beds were comfortable & the kitchen was stocked with everything you need.

Pleasant stay at A Gift from the Sea

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very pleasant and peaceful stay at A Gift from the Sea. Initially when we arrived the house was a little warm and stuffy but opening windows and doors made a huge difference since the area has its own natural cooling system. Everything was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. Very close to places we wanted to visit, and easy in and out. Great for anyone with mobilty issues as the house is all on once floor and no steps.

Reviewer Comments: This home on the hill above Cambria was a great location for walking the Fiscalini Ranch Reserve (access right across the street) as well as exploring the beaches and greater Cambria area. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the front patio for lounging, dining, reading and visiting when the afternoon sun came out.

Cambria

Great location for this cute home. Loved the access to the Fiscalini Preserve. The home worked well for 3 generations, and the hot-tub was an added bonus. This is an older property, but it had everything we needed

Great location

We liked that the home is located close to trails for walking and bike riding. The home was clean and decorated nicely. The only negative is that the hot tub didn't get as warm as we would have liked.

The location is great, check-in and check-out was very easy, and the house is very nicely decorated. We were there over New Year and the inclement weather prevented us from taking advantage of the outdoor areas, but it looked like a very nice place to sit. The kitchen and bathrooms are a little dated, and we would recommend a dehumidifier to help with the challenges of the local climate. We could not get the hot tub to a good temperature and the chlorine was very strong.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our time here. The property is really nice but the best feature is the location on the edge of Fiscalini. We did lots of walks right from the front door. When we are next back in Cambria we will definitely try and rent this property again.

Very disappointed when roof leaked and had to spend Sunday managing that with moving furniture and placing containers for water.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was clean, comfortable and a great location. Close to Shamel Park.. It’s an older home with a small kitchen. Has a very nice patio in front and small one in rear. Bar b que old and dirty, didn’t work. We have been coming to Cambria for over 20 years for family reunion. We go through Scenic Coast Realty for the rentals and have had Outstanding Service every time.

Great place to stay with my family for a wedding weekend. Three bedrooms are a necessity with two teenage boys, and the master suite was perfect for us. Kitchen is adequately equipped to cook meals, which is helpful since Cambria rolls up its sidewalks early.Access to the nature preserve that takes you down to the cliffs above the ocean is literally across the street. Hot tub is an added bonus.Be aware that check in instructions are emailed to you at the time you book, from a management company, so check your spam folder. I booked three months in advance and was concerned that the day of our stay I hadn't received instructions, but the response from the management company was prompt, and we had no issues getting in.
