The iconic triangular windows filled with blue skies, starry nights, pine trees, and mountaintop views will give you a sense of tranquility and wonder. Picture perfect and pet friendly, too! Sit by the wood burning fireplace and toast your toes or prepare meals in the brand new kitchen - fully equipped with a host of culinary toys to inspire your imagination. After a long day on the slopes, create your own spa experience in our cozy little bathroom complete with a Doterra essential oil diffuser, 1500 watt heater, organic locally made soap, and your favorite music. Only 8 min to Mountain High Resort, and right in town for everything you need. This unique chalet is actually a duplex. You have your own separate space and the photos show all that is yours to enjoy. The property managers live in the other unit onsite to ensure you will always have 5 star service. A Very Special Place

The property offers an area for your pet, porches on the back and front with plenty of outdoor seating. There is a Level 1 electric vehicle outlet (120volt) available that we used to add some mileage to our car. The interior of the cabin was immaculate, with a well-thought-out decor that made us feel right at home. The cabin includes a top-notch kitchen where you could cook anything you can imagine. High-speed internet WIFI and a large screen smart tv provided us with excellent entertainment. We were concerned about the heat since our stay was in July, but were pleasantly surprised by the air conditioning system and 2 ceiling fans along with 2 portable fans that kept us cool throughout our stay. The bathroom was spotless with everything necessary. Sleeping quarters were perfect, with plenty of pillows and very comfortable beds. The living room and eating quarters provided us with plenty of seating with pillows and blankets. We also found the spiral staircase to be much easier to use than a standard stair case-which was nice for us seniors. We loved the Sparrows Nest and our host Melissa was the best! We will be back.

Nice Little Mountain Getaway

Been looking for a place to stay in Wrightwood for a few nights and The Sparrow's Nest is perfect. Super close to everything and a really nice and clean place with great hosts.

Hi, I am Melissa, manager of the Sparrow's Nest. I also own a business as a Registered Dietitian, helping school districts make healthier lunch menus. I've traveled extensively using AirBNB and it was my dream to host an AirBNB, myself.

Why they chose this property

The experience of sleeping in an iconic A-frame is something you'll never forget. The loft kind of feels like camping, but you're comfy and warm under a pile of cozy blankets. The mattress is supportive yet soft. It is pure joy to look out over the comfy covers and see the twinkle A-frame lights and the starry night sky.

What makes this property unique

Hands down, the most unique benefit of an A-frame is the windows and views. The SN (Sparrow's Nest) just glows with light and a sense of serenity. The mountain ridge that you see out the windows and through the green pines is the Pacific Crest Trail. In fact, every late spring-early summer, our town is full of friendly PCT hikers from around the world. We are also very close to Mountain High Ski Resort for quick and easy access to the slopes.
