It was so nice to have you and your family stay in Breckenridge. The area has so much to offer for families--that is certainly why we purchased at Grand Timber Lodge in the first place!

Great for the kids
The place is showing its age, but for the price, it's a great deal. It's no longer a luxury resort. Our 3 kids, ages 9 and 7, loved the pool area. Grand Timber's shuttle is a big convenience. Easy access out to the Snowflake lift. The Snowflake trail isn't a great option back, as there is lots of poling required. Terrible with small kids without their own poles. We ended up catching the shuttle from Beaver Run. Never needed to wait more than 10 mins for the shuttle. The owner never responded to questions about what's available in the unit. It's a standard rental with what you need, but nothing special. The master bed isn't very comfortable. It was OK. Our 3 kids were perfect for the lock off unit that has a queen bed and pull out sofa sleeper. Overall, we'd go back to Grand Timber.

Rob,
Your review of our unit at Grand Timber Lodge left me a little bit confused! We have spent several years vacationing at Grand Timber, and we have always found our Lodge to be very family friendly, with great accommodations and amenities, which are clearly listed in the advertisement. Our renters had access to my cell phone number, and email address. At no time did we receive any question as to what is available in the unit, either via telephone or email (It is nice to have an email trail through VRBO!). Clearly there are several pictures of the interior of the unit posted in our ad, and, a detailed list of amenities present as well. We are glad the renter does mention that their family would return to Grand Timber. This speaks well of the unit they rented, and of the resort and its location in beautiful Breckenridge! At $1495 for their family vacation at Grand Timber Lodge, the price was, well, a steal. This was not only a fabulous rental price, but we feel it helped to contribute to this family's fun and quality time together. We encourage all readers to thoroughly investigate all potential resort locations. This truly is the information age, and questions can be answered many times over through a variety of ways, but, they do have to be asked.
We look forward to renting our unit again next year to wonderful families who will make memories to last a lifetime at Grand Timber Lodge!
