The cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable. It was only about 10 minutes away from the airport and check in was super easy. My host, Susan, was wonderful about getting back to me if I had any questions and actually lives on the property which made me feel very safe. My stay also included a nice complementary breakfast which was delivered to my room in the morning. Overall, a wonderful experience!
We had a quick overnight stop on our way to the north east. We had a lovely stay, checkin was as breeze, and the proprietor answered my questions when needed. We traveled with a pet and he was most welcome.
We had a great stay at the Rosemont. It was cute and comfy, with lots of garden-themed decor. I will note that there isn't a stand-up shower, but there is a nice big jetted tub with a hand-held shower attachment. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!
I loved the area that we were placed in. Very much peaceful! Would recommend to my other colleagues and associates. The host was very pleasant and always in reach!
We loved the location.
One morning we walked for breakfast and enjoyed local scenery.
We did not find breakfast each morning, maybe we miss understood the instructions.

Nice stay. Lovely garden area, sad it was raining so was not able to really enjoy.
Cute and private historic property. Walking distance to SoMa area with shops and restaurants. Favorites - Community Bakery, Raduno Brick Oven (great to dine in or take out), and Rock Town Distillery (can bring your dog and play table games). Our apartment did not have a standup shower.
To start with the communication started with the reservation and continued throughout the stay. The instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The best part was the room itself. Absolutely stunning, adorable, comfortable, and spotless. Breakfast included and you could even choose what you wanted. The courtyard is beautiful and a friendly cat was waiting for us. Honestly this was the best experience I have had and can’t wait to come back.
Charming, if old-fashioned, little cottages with a darling tuxedo kitty named Marko who greets you in the garden. Driveway was narrow but manageable in our SUV. Our cottage did have stairs, so probably not the best if you need help with luggage. Susan was very prompt in responding via text. Thank you.
Unique place to stay with responsive property management
I booked this spot because of its unique quirks, it seemed like a nice relaxing quiet place to have a relaxing evening. The property is beautiful, I love the garden outdoor area, it’s absolutely beautiful. The property manager was very nice, I was a bit late putting in my request for pastries and did not expect them to be able to accommodate the late request but they did and that was very nice. The only issue I had is how noisy it was. Another group that was staying there played loud inappropriate rap music and were talking very loud. This went on for about 2.5 hours 11pm to 130am. This definitely disrupted my hopes for a quiet get away and sleep. Eventually it did quiet down and I went outside to enjoy the garden area and relax since I was having trouble going back to sleep. It appeared that the group making all the racket was likely asked to leave because it was quiet and the vehicle they came in was missing and it was about 215am when I went to the garden to try to relax. It’s my guess that someone resolved the issue it just took a while. I wish I knew what to do if I experienced this issue but no instructions for this were provided. the group making noise were males I did not feel comfortable attempting to politely ask them to quite down and while I suppose I could have called the cops, I felt like having to do that would make my experience more unpleasant plus I was not sure if they would have to leave the premises and if that group would retaliate.
We ended up staying in May’s Garden Cottage due to a scheduling error. The error was discovered and rectified within 1 day of booking. Susan was great to work with. We were so glad to find a dog friendly place to stay one night and the private garden was so easy for our pup. I don’t know that we could have stayed more than one because the mattress was fairly uncomfortable. Otherwise no complaints!

About the host
Hosted by Susan Maddx
After a demanding career in advertising, I moved home to Little Rock from Dallas, settled in the city's incredible historic neighborhood where I grew up and began Act III of my life ... so far my favorite. I love being a cottage innkeeper, working from my own 1880s farmhouse surrounded by peace , beauty and wonderful guests who seem to enjoy my updated, vintage cottages.
Why they chose this property
Rosemont is a farmhouse built in 1880 still retaining much of the original construction. I moved here from a career in Dallas advertising with the desire to restore this lovely historic house and turn it into my home and an inn. After 18 years of traditional innkeeping, I converted the space to private cottages. I love everything about my life in the house, the neighborhood and my cottages.
What makes this property unique
Private entrance to your cottage through the large, secluded garden with off-street parking behind and steps away from your cottage entrance. Self check-in/out and flexible arrival time add to your leisure. Each cottage has either a gated balcony or fenced & gated private garden. Privacy, seclusion and casual luxury are the hallmarks of Rosemont hospitality.
