This family friendly retreat is the perfect place to relax, have fun, and enjoy the best of Holland. Walk to the Lake MI beach at Tunnel Park or visit Holland State Park (1.2 miles), Riley Trails, and award-winning Downtown Holland. For a night in, relax by the fire pit, watch a movie on a big-screen, challenge friends to air hockey or foosball, cozy up by the fireplace, or utilize the fast WiFi. Equipped for families with a swing set, bed rail, travel crib, high chair, toys, baby gate, and more.
This home is located on Holland’s peaceful, wooded Northside, a 15-minute walk to Lake Michigan beach access at Tunnel Park. With 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a convertible couch, there is plenty of space for the whole family. If you have a big group, take advantage of the three indoor living spaces–hang with friends in the upstairs living room (complete with a hanging hammock chair), gather on the oversized couches to watch a movie on the 65” TV in the family room, or play air hockey, foosball, or a myriad of classic games in the basement game room. If you prefer to play outside, set-up a lawn game in the fenced-in backyard, build a fire in the fire pit, or shoot some hoops out front. There is no shortage of activities to make your beach retreat fun and relaxing.
For mealtimes, prepare food in the fully-equipped kitchen, use the grill on the back deck, or go out and enjoy Holland’s vibrant dining scene. Gather around the table in the dining area indoors or enjoy the fresh air by gathering around the outdoor dining table on the deck. For dessert, make some s’mores around the fire pit under the stars and listen carefully–on windy nights you can hear the waves lapping onto the Lake Michigan beach nearby.
Check out our Holland, Michigan guidebook that will be sitting out when you enter the house–you’ll find dining recommendations from gourmet eateries to ice cream shops, activity recommendations from disc golf courses to kayak rentals, and more. Don’t miss out on visiting Downtown Holland, which recently won the “Coolest Downtown” award in a national contest.
This area of the lakeshore is very bikeable, with bike paths lining all the major roads. Bring your bike along or use one of the bikes provided for guests in the garage.
For security we have a video doorbell and outdoor camera. Also, to be a good neighbor and comply with local regulations we have a sound monitor that measures noise levels but does not record any audio.
