About this property

New Beach Home Ready for its Second Season

The Windy City Beach House was completed at the end of 2021. This will be its second season in service.

It is a spectacular home near town, but in the beautiful community of Beachside Village. The home has an 800 square foot wrap-around porch with an amazing view of the beach (2 lots out the front have not been built on yet so it has one of the best views in Beachside for a non beach-front home). It is only a 3-minute walk to the beach.

Walk out onto the enormous deck and enjoy the water view! There is a beautiful table outside that seats 10, with a near-by natural gas grill. There are also couches on the porch to enjoy the breeze. Both the sunrise and sunset can be viewed from the deck!
Enjoy the open layout of the home and the spacious kitchen with island. The kitchen has everything you can think of to prepare all kinds of meals, snacks, and beverages as you enjoy both inside and outside living. The 9’ live edge table will seat everyone.

The Windy City Beach House has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms (and outdoor shower with temperature control). Children enjoy the bunk room with beautiful built in bunk beds. No children on your trip? Then use the queen bed in the bunk room instead. The house has fast internet, lots of board games, but no TV.

The Windy City Beach House does not have a TV.

The purpose of this house is to have fun outside, and the garage is full of activities, all available for your use. Items available include: 1) three bikes 2) foam surfboard 3) standup paddleboard 4) beach chairs, wagon, and canopy 5) pickleball, 6) two scooters 7) double kayak 8) small portable grill with charcoal for the beach 9) portable fire pit for the beach 10) two wagons for getting to the beach 11) towels, ice chests, sand toys.

Use our outdoor shower to easily rinse off sand and sunscreen from a day of fun at the beach!

BEACHSIDE VILLAGE
Beachside Village is one of Galveston's most popular and newer upscale neighborhoods, with picturesque, idyllic, colorful, coastal homes, all on stilts and all built with strict Victorian-style architecture. Beachside Village is the second closest neighborhood on the West End and is only minutes from the most popular activities on Galveston Island.

Sorry, pets are not allowed at this home.
Beachside Village Community is a quiet residential neighborhood, and quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm and 8 am.
Weddings, proms or large gatherings of any kind are not permitted in Beachside Village.
The house has parking for up to five vehicles on the property. Beachside Village HOA does not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Beachside Village HOA charges fees for non-compliance.
All reservations require a completed Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 11 am. Exceptions may be possible.

Also, we can give a further discount if you are willing to stay 2 or more weeks.

Beautiful home and relaxing vacation

This home is stunning. So beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you need. Our family enjoyed the time together relaxing, playing games and the peaceful views of the Gulf. The host was so easy to work with and made the process easy! Just what we needed before the start of a new school year!

Absolutely loved our time here, best water views and most beautiful home. Accommodating to anything you may need and gorgeous accommodations inside and out. Ocean and sunset views are the best of both worlds. Plenty of space to relax, cook, and enjoy with whoever you want to bring! This is the type of home that makes you want to live there, or at least come back again and again! Undoubtedly I will be back with more family, friends, and colleagues for another great escape. Thank you!

The best vacation house we have EVER!

We have come to Galveston every summer for many years now and this is, by far, the best house we have stayed at. The hosts were very attentive even before we arrived and truly made everything go so smoothly. The house is extremely clean with an amazing floorpan. You could tell a lot of thought went into this build. Now for the things that put it over the top for our stay. When we walked in it was beautifully decorated and cool (which was amazing because it was so hot outside. We saw a welcome note that helped us navigate the house. Each room had a sound machine which was just AMAZING and such a good touch for a multi family vacation. We were actually able to sleep without hearing others. While I am talking about sleep I have to mention that the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on (including my own) and that says a lot because I LOVE my bed. I might be changing after sleeping there. It just felt so great to wake up each morning fully rested. They also have a fully stocked garage with everything you could possibly want for the beach (wagon, canopy, toys, etc). This was so nice and next time I know we really don't need to bring much. You could tell the hosts really care about their guests stay. They had a little wine bar with complimentary full sized, nice wines. We don't drink but I could see how that would be so fun for those who do. The also had mason jars for us to collect shells and take home. Such a cute touch! We couldn't be happier! Will stay

Galveston Getaway~Highly Recommend

Our stay at this property exceeded our expectations! We stayed here for our annual family trip & the house was perfect to accommodate our large crew. The location is great- just a short walk to the beach. We loved the cute decor and personal touches throughout the home. The owners were so nice & communicative- even gave us some food recommendations! This was by far our best experience with vacation rentals & we highly recommend.

The Gold Standard!!!

We have stayed at many VRBOs (or Similar) during our vacations. It is difficult to find a house to accommodate our family with six children (3 of which are under 3 yo). This home not only allowed us to spread out, but we were able to do so comfortably throughout the 4 bedrooms of this recently built property. The home doesn't have a TV in it, which allowed us to focus on building memories without competing with the networks. The internet, which was both fast and reliable, allowed us to stream music through the home's SONOS built-in audio. The home was extremely well laid out, and decorated with a personal touch. I love the way the host displayed their family portraits and framed memories. We felt like we were staying at a friend's place more than a vacation rental. A/C worked amazingly during the Texas Summer. The hosts are easily the most gracious and generous hosts we've experienced. It is the small things, like providing beach towels, sand toys, etc that we didn't expect. Upon arrival, we learned that bicycles, scooters, surfboards, paddle boards,, and more were also available for us to use. We will absolutely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your sanctuary with us!!!

Amazing home!

We had such an amazing time at this home. The owners were extremely welcoming and attentive. The home is beautiful and has so much you can use. It is walking distance to the beach. Over all we loved staying here. Thank you!
