Wonderful Week in Sierra Madre

The house was an amazing home base for a week of art camp and exploring the area. It was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and very well equipped! We loved being such a short walk to downtown Sierra Madre, and enjoyed the excellent coffee shops and restaurants. We look forward to our next stay!

Sierra Madre haven

This is our third visit to this bungalow and we love it. It has comfortable, well appointed and the host is responsive. It is spotless as well. It is an easy walk to coffee and restaurants. We highly recommend this home.

Rose Bowl Weekend Stay

This house was perfect for our Rose Bowl weekend. Downtown Sierra Madre is really cute with nice places to eat. The neighborhood felt so safe we went for a run. After our run we had fresh lemon water from the organic lemon tree outside! The beds were comfortable and the linens were all very nice. It took less than 10 minutes to get to the Sierra Madre Train station, which made it super easy to get to the Rose Bowl parade without having to take our rental car. The Rose Bowl Floatfest was also very close by. They have a nice patio that we sat in to get some sun and naps in between activities. Overall a great stay!

Tour of LA/visit with family with my adult kids

Having lived in LA previously- I was familiar with the area and I was so pleased to find a quiet sanctuary in Sierra Madre after long days on the go. The foothills are beautiful and special. The house was comfortable, clean, and relaxing. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you could possibly need for meals or snacks. The beds were very comfortable. The outside patio areas were wonderful as the hot days cooled when the sun went down. Alan was quick to respond to questions and I cannot recommend this little place enough! Excellent stay and really looking forward to our next stay in Sierra Madre! 10 stars!!! Thanks Alan! - KC

I love to cook and eat good food. Our experience through travel allows us to draw from many different places and we’ve tried to bring our favorite items to share and mimic what we liked.

The bungalow in Sierra Madre is such a special place for so many reasons. The city itself is truly a best kept secret. It has the feel and charm of an old town, with easy access and walkability . The home is at the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains yet has mature trees throughout.

Located in the charming city of Sierra Madre, a peaceful respite thoughtfully curated for those looking for a quiet retreat from the lights and noise of the city. A five minute walk brings you to the Village where you can grab a bite to eat or a cup of coffee. Bring your mountain bike and hiking boots and hit the trails. For those seeking a cultural experience, the Huntington library and LA Arboretum are a quick ride down the road. There’s a lot to do in very close proximity.
