Welcome to Lazy Bear in the heart of Hocking Hills

Lazy Bear cabin is located on the highest ridge in Hocking Hills! The view from the fire pit and front porch are amazing. You can see for MILES!! Lazy Bear features custom log furniture & carvings, unique finishing touches, a fully equipped kitchen, and its own movie theater & arcade! This fantastic location is close to all Hocking Hills has to offer. Enjoy the stars at night, build a fire in the fire pit or watch a movie in your own movie theater featuring comfortable reclining leather seating & big screen. Fun for all, the arcade features 60 of your favorite 80’s games like PAC Man and Asteroids. The hot tub is covered for all weather use and there is an outside eating area. The living room has a leather sectional sofa and Smart TV. The master bedroom features a king bed & its own luxury bath. The other bedrooms have queen beds. All beds have 1800 thread count sheets. This property is Bearific!! See if you can count how many bears there are in their habitat. Our cabins are clean and well maintained. We have a professional cleaning company to prepare the cabin before your stay. We like to offer the little extras that we enjoy when we are traveling with friends and family. There is a very large yard for your family to play and enjoy nature. The surrounding pastures are so relaxing.

Lazy Bear had everything and then some we needed for a girls weekend. The entire space was incredibly clean and organized. The amenities were great, especially the movie room and hot tub. Overall excellent stay!

Beautiful secluded location within 20 minutes to Hocking Hills Star Park! Hocking Hills was worth the visit however make sure to find a restroom before starting any trail because it is a long one way trail. Hocking Valley train robbery was a fun family adventure

Perfect cabin for a weekend with friends

Cabin was clean and listing was accurate. It was the perfect long weekend with friends in a quiet, remote place. Movie theater was fantastic! Definitely will be back in the future.

Perfection!

We were looking for a RELAXING and PEACEFUL weekend away, and we found it at the Lazy Bear! My husband loves movies, games and hot tubs so he was thoroughly impressed and busy all weekend ;) I was able to unwind with beautiful views while reading books. We could not have asked for a more perfect house to relax, destress, and make this happen.

Fantastic cabin

Had very relaxing evenings after our days hiking. Between the hot tub, arcade games and theatre room, you couldn’t get a better place to stay. Extremely clean and comfortable with many extras you don’t normally get.

My family had a great time and enjoyed the Hot Tub, Theater, Fire Pit and counting all the bears! My only suggestions might be to replace the pillows, they were a little flat! Everything else was perfect!

Fantastic place

We met our daughter and her friend and family here for a weekend getaway from OU. The house was so clean and had everything we needed for cooking and play. We lived the video game, the hot tub, and the fire pit. Lived the morning sunrise and evening sunset. We will stay again next year when the girls need a little getaway from OU

The place was just what we needed and was one of the better properties we’ve stayed at. Brandy was very responsive whenever we reached out, and the place was very clean and comfortable. We stayed with our 3 grandkids ages 15, 14, and 10, experienced travelers who’ve stayed with us in various locations over the years. They all agreed it was a great place. Brandy provides many items I’ve had to purchase myself at other rentals - dish soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towel, toilet paper, hand soap, body soap and shampoo, Kleenex, garbage bags. These little extras make a big difference! The beds were very comfortable, and the movie room was a big hit with our crew. There was literally everything needed in the kitchen, even if you were there with a few more than we had. The location was about 20-25 minutes from most things we wanted to do, but we knew that going in. The view were beautiful! My husband and I sat on the patio the morning we left and literally watched and listened to a thunderstorm move in. It was beautiful! We fully enjoyed the hot tub too. My only suggestion would be that the years could have used a good mowing, and since were fire pit folks, that was something we’d have appreciated. But there was some wood there for us to use even though we’d been told they didn’t provide wood. All in all, we’d highly recommend to e lazy bear!

He really enjoyed our stay at Lazy bear… The house was really charming, updated and perfectly set up for families. All the extra amenities were great to have. Lots of room .. The primary bedroom was large as was the primary bathroom suite and the bed was very comfortable! Highly recommend!!!

Wedding week

My son got married at Ash Cave this past week. We stayed at Lazy Bear cabin. This place is awesome. The view out the front door is amazing while having a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The location is within distance of Hocking Hills State Park and many activities. Great place to stay. You won’t be disappointed.
