Clean place, thoughtful extras around the cabin. We had a pleasant stay. Easily made breakfast in the small kitchen. Questions prior to stay answered quickly.
The waterfront A frame was a true A frame experience! We enjoyed evenings by the fireplace watching deer outside the large full sized window and during the day walking down to the private pond. Perfect getaway if you are hoping to escape from the hustle and bustle of a busy life!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the authentic A-frame cabin experience and the peaceful waterfront setting. Relaxing by the fireplace while watching wildlife through the large picture windows is one of our favorite parts of the cabin too. We’re happy you were able to enjoy the private pond and quiet, nature-filled surroundings — it’s exactly the kind of relaxing Hocking Hills getaway we hope every guest experiences when escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We’d love to welcome you back anytime for another cozy cabin retreat!
Perfect for a long holiday weekend. This cabin in the woods was lovely, cozy, clean, and well equipped. Neighboring properties were spaced out nicely. The lane would be difficult to access in the snow with AWD.
Loved the isolation and the quietness. Hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day of hiking the trails! Loved being disconnected from the world for a long weekend. We will be back!

Renee! We love to hear this!! The cabin has had some major updates since your stay- we cannot wait to host you again!
The cabin was amazing! Very clean, cozy and comfortable! The driveway to get there sucked...very rough. From the description we thought we were going to be right on the lake....however you have to hike down a hill to get to it, so we only did that once.
Great place to stay if you're looking to unplug & relax. Close to Hocking Hills activities, but still remote to enjoy some quiet time with nature. We brought floats for the lake & the weather was perfect! Ended the evenings w/ a soak in the hot tube & a campfires.
The home was very clean and nicer than expected. The road is a bit rough, but we had no issues accessing the house. The canoe was a great addition and it provided hours of fun!We will definitely come back. The only negative to report was that the guest book was full, so we could not write about how much fun we had.
It was a amazing weekend and the property was perfect and beautiful

We have no complaints but want others to know road to house very rough. Access to loft is a steep ladder. Main floor Bed is small and against wall on one side so we swapped nights for bed and other slept on sofa. The cabin was very well kept and very private.

Hi!! Thanks for the mention about the bed, since your stay, new ownership of the cabin has balanced the bed so you can easily exit both sides!

We enjoyed our visit!!! We’re already planning our next adventure back! Thank you for a cozy trip. Much needed family vacation, and this property was just the ticket!
