We'll be back to Breezy Beach Bungalow

We rented the Breezy Beach Bungalow for a few days in September 2023. Loved this house. It is two blocks from the lakeshore and about 4 blocks from downtown. This allowed us to walk to watch the sunset. There is a park on a bluff & the beach itself is a short walk. There are many restaurants to eat lunch and dinner all within walking distance. There is a fenced in backyard which was handy for our dog. There is a gap between the privacy fence and the chainlink fence that my 30lb dog tried to shimmy through. Beaches in South Haven prohibit dogs on the beach, but you can sit on the benches where there is concrete with your dog. Van Buren State Park and Pilgrims Haven allow dogs on the beach & are good places to rockhound. The house itself is really nice. Probably built in the 1920 with plaster walls with arches, beautiful wood trim and crown molding. We did not cook but the kitchen is well equipped to do so. There is a washer and dryer in the basement, but we didn't use them either. There is a driveway big enough to fit several cars. The neighborhood has a lot of older homes that have been renovated of really well maintained. The yard has beautiful landscaping with clematis that was covered with monarch butterflies and other pollinators. There is a gas grill and long picnic table and smokeless firepit in the backyard. We did not use these either.

Perfect in many ways.

This property feels like a home away from home. Incredibly cute, quaint, and comfortable. Living room was perfect for the 4 of us. Outdoor space was perfect for hanging out, grilling, and dining. Comfortable beds in perfectly sized bedrooms. 3 blocks walk to the beach. 4 blocks to downtown. Just perfect. Thanks again!
