The Good, The Bad and the Disappointing
The Good: the apartment is in the absolute center of beautiful Casares, a Vibrant and busy location in the center of this authentic and very Spanish/Moorish mountain side town of 4800 people. The rooftop patio has an epic view of the town, the Moorish castle and the Med… sounds of the lovely town square , from morning until late evening are are welcome and authentic. The apartment is nicely appointed if a little dated, on 4 levels. The Bad: 2 of the 5 seperate AC units did not work, kitchen/ dining room and office/ dressing room. The WiFi modem never worked so no internet access at all during our stay. The drains in all bathrooms and sinks, except kitchen, were partially clogged. Bed linen was not great, not enough pillows. The kitchen had 3 very poor cutting knives , the other 8 in the knife block missing. PARKING WAS A NIGHTMARE! No instructions were given as to where / how to park . The big town Multi plex lot is about a 10-15
Min walk w your bags far from unit. We discovered that You can unload in the town square with your bags beforehand and walk 100 meters…. None of this explained in our instructions!!! The Disappointing: this apartment had been lovingly restored and lived in by some thoughtful and visionary owners. The rooftop patio, the cool artwork, the interesting touches around the home- but iapartment management has not restocked or given care and attention to the important details like information about parking! 3 Stairways , very narrow+Steep!
