Lovingly renovated townhouse in the heart of Faro: "Casa Limoeiro"

The pretty holiday home for up to 4 people is located close to the center in the beautiful capital of the Algarve Faro, in the middle of a residential area with mostly native inhabitants.
The current owners have renovated the single-storey townhouse with high ceilings in typical Portuguese architecture with great attention to detail to retain the charm of the old building.
In the establishment much emphasis was placed on the use of matching to the era of the house furniture, also in typical Portuguese style.
Natural stone from the Algarve was used for the two beautiful modern bathrooms as well as the fully equipped kitchen.
Highlight and namesake of the enchanting house is a large, shady lemon tree, under which you can have breakfast or relax on a warm evening.
How about freshly grilled fish prepared on the in-house barbecue?
A large roof terrace with outdoor shower invites you to sunbathe or sundowner.

o Most interesting places in the Algarve, whether beaches, towns, villages in the hinterland or the mountains (eg. B. Serra de Monchique), easily reached within a day trip from Faro (rental car recommended)

Charming house

We had a very nice time in the lovely townhouse.It has everything we needed. We loved specially the open atrium with the lemontree. The communication with the owner before we arrived was very good.

Perfect accommodation for family, well laid out, clean, has everything you need. Lovely quiet area with fabulous rooftop balcony plus a lemon tree in the courtyard. Very helpful and attentive host. Easy access to small local shop plus larger supermarket a few minutes walk away. Helpful info in property for the area. Easy walk down to the old centre - lots of places to eat. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was spacious, with a wonderful view of the water, and all bedrooms and living room had water views as well. Casa Limoeiro was the perfect choice.

Loved staying in this stunning house. Short walk into the centre of Faro. Shop across the road for the heavy odds and ends we didn’t want to carry back up with us. Quiet neighbourhood. Comfortable. Aesthetically pleasing. Roof Terrace a bonus. Perfect in every way.

Townhouse in Faro

Lovely townhouse in Faro. Everything that we needed was in the property. Weather was fantastic and house is handy for the town. The area at the top of the house is very nice to sit and have a meal or a drink, but could do with a little bit of shade as it gets very hot. All in all you will not be disappointed with the property as it is in a very good location only 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

The Lemon House

Fabulous, cool, quiet, absolutely loved the courtyard with its Lemon tree and the roof terrace. We had a mini supermarket just up the road,and a barbecue in the courtyard. We ate at the house mainly and appreciated the few bits , herbs, oil etc left by previous guests. The Housekeeper was excellent, friendly and helpful, and the owner and I have been having email conversarions for weeks . We enjoyed it so much we will be telling all our friends to stay there, and we intend to return one day

Perfect!

Casa Limoeiro is a fantastic holiday home; well-equipped, spacious and very clean. It is especially advantageous to have air-con in both bedrooms as well as the living areas as this ensured the entire house could be kept cool despite the glorious heat of the July sun. Communication before, during and after was also excellent. The addition of personal recommendations for restaurants etc was an added bonus (each one we tried lived up to expectation). The location was perfect, quiet enough to enjoy the all day sun on the terrace and a good nights sleep to a quick 5/10mins walk to a busier location with many amenities. The neighbours were friendly and welcoming giving us a wave whenever they saw us. Casa Limoeira is great and I would love to return. Highly recommended.

Il check-in è stato molto semplice e c'è stata piena disponibilità per l'orario. La casa è molto carina, forse più bella che nelle foto. C'è tutto quel che serve per cucinare e anche i bagni sono ben forniti. La casa è pulitissima. Posizione comoda per girare nel centro di Faro a piedi. Il minimarket a 10 m è strategico per ogni necessità, ma anche il Mercato Municipale è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Nel complesso, ci tornerei anche domani!

Séjour 1 semaine à la casa de Limoeiro

Très contents de notre séjour. La maison est encore plus jolie en vrai que sur les photos. Coup de cœur pour le merveilleux patio à l'ombre dans lequel nous avons pris nos petits déjeuner et certains repas. La climatisation était la bienvenue pour nous aider à supporter la chaleur du mois d'août . Maison rénovée avec soin mélangeant ancien et neuf. Rien ne manque. Draps, serviettes, cuisine bien équipée. Située à 10 min à pied du centre de Faro avec ses rues piétonnes, ses boutiques et restaurants. Une petite supérette dans la rue dépanne quelques courses et du pain pour le matin. Pour les grandes courses il y a un grand centre commercial auchan à 5 min en voiture. Pour la plage, voiture nécessaire. Pour ceux qui aiment dormir dans le noir total par contre prévoir un masque de nuit car la maison possèdent plusieurs ouvertures au dessus des portes sans rideaux ni volets laissant passer le jour. À louer sans hésiter pour un séjour à Faro.

Absolument parfait en tous points de vue.

Un grand merci à Aleksandra d'avoir accepté notre arrivée anticipée ( notre avion atterissait à 7h du matin). Nous étions sans voiture et la maison est idéalement placée pour se déplacer à pied. Tout était parfait dans le logement: propreté incroyable, équipements et confort. Merci beaucoup et à une prochaine fois avec plaisir !

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für einen tollen Urlaub!

Wir waren 10 Tage zu Gast in der Casa Limeiro in Faro und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet (inkl Spül- und Waschmaschine!) und die Betreuung vor Ort durch Amelia und auch online durch die Besitzerin wirklich toll. Das Haus liegt direkt in Faro, Hafen, Altstadt und viele tolle Restaurants sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Man ist nicht in einer Touristenhochburg, sondern kann das echte portugiesische Leben hautnah miterleben. Wir haben einige Ausflüge mit dem Mietwagen gemacht, waren aber auch mehrmals mit der kleinen Personenfähre vorn am Strand von Faro. Sowohl wir Erwachsenen als auch die Kinder haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Gut möglich, dass wir wieder kommen :)

Ein perfektes Ferienhaus für einen Aufenthalt an der Algarve

Unser Familienurlaub im Casa Limoeiro war hervorragend. Das Haus ist mit Geschmack und Stil eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Die Terrasse mit dem Zitronenbaum sowie die Dachterrasse sind super. Die Altstadt sowie die Promenade von Faro sind 10min fußläufig zu erreichen. Ein kleiner Tante Emma Laden ist direkt vor der Tür, ein größeres Einkaufszentrum mit Markthalle ist in 15min fußläufig zu erreichen. Parkplätze sind in den umgebenden Straßen vorhanden. Die Praia de Faro ist mit dem Auto in 15-20min, je nach Verkehr, gut zu erreichen. Wir können das Ferienhaus mehr als empfehlen.

Super Séjour à la Casa Limoeiro de Faro

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans cette très jolie maison. Le patio particulièrement est vraiment incroyable pour le petit déjeuner. La maison est parfaite pour les vacances, et l'emplacement et super (supérette, boulangerie, centre ville et transports). Nous connaissons bien Faro, et je recommande cet hébergement à 100%. Merci et bravo à Aleksandra et à l'équipe qui ont été aux petits soins avec nous.
