This VRBO property exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The owner was responsive and quickly resolved a minor issue. The board games and Foosball table provided great entertainment. Overall, a fantastic stay!

This place was in a great and easily accessible location. Great for 2 families and easy walk to the beach. Our family had a great time staying here. I do recommend bringing 2 baby gates with you if you have infants to block them off from the stairs. Besides that obstacle for us everything was perfect!!

Perfect Spot

This place was perfect for our family’s mini vacation. The house was clean, and had beach chairs, toys, and floats available. The location was perfect close to restaurants, shopping, and a convince store everything was within a mile. Beach was just across the street and was absolutely beautiful!! We got there a little early and they let us check in a few hours early, after the 10 hour drive that was a huge relief for us.

Awesome beach getaway

This was a fabulous unit just 100 steps from the beach. It was fully equpped, bedrooms were large and private. The beach toys, umbrella, beach towels and Tiki Bar were a plus. I highly recommend. The owners were fabulous communicators and very receptive to our needs. Thanks for a great stay.

Best Time Ever

First, the condo was so clean and fresh. Everything was cleaned like you lived there and cleaned yourself. Second, the location was great. Convenient to walk to the private beach (no tents or canopies allowed, but can use umbrellas) to the short walk to the public beach and Pompano Joe's. Alvin's Island next door, ice cream close by in both directions, coffee shop within walking distance, and the road by the condo brought you out on 98 at a red light(which is great when leaving and returning to the condo). Next, the condo was furnished great, plenty of room for everyone, great tiki room, and plenty of beach toys available for guest to use. Finally, the owners are amazing and they communicated very quick response. We will definitely be recruiting from them again.

Sandy Feet Retreat

Sandy Feet Retreat was amazing! There was so much room! We loved the double bunk bed room for the kids! It was perfect! The location could not be beat! Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go! We also loved that there were 2 parking spaces! What an amazing place! We definitely recommend Sandy Feet Retreat! Hope to stay there again in the future!!

A New Tradition

Went with my fellow mom friend and her son with my 3 boys and we loved this property. My 2 yo is not very social and gets upset easily in new environments but he loved his little room and playing all over the house. My older 2 boys enjoyed the fusball table and the games. I think we spent more time at the home than the beach! You can see the ocean still from the living room and upstairs balcony and the walk to the beach is short and sweet. There’s a lot of places nearby to walk to. Highly recommend the boba tea and frozen coffee next door and Pompano Joe’s- be prepared it’s about an hour wait around dinner time. The location is perfect and the water is clear and beautiful!

Private entrance to beach

I think an important note is the closeness of the private entrance to the beach, with small kids and a lot to haul that’s a key point when I’m looking to book. The owners were really quick in their repose times. House was clean, updated, and had amenities (soaps, detergents, even beach towels). 2 parking spots up front but Alvin’s island next door allows you to park for $20/night.

Great condo and location

We usually stay in Miramar Beach when vacationing in the Destin area. This condo was perfect for our family of 9. Ages ranging from 10 to 65. The double bunk beds made it easy for the kids and bottom floor master worked excellent for grandma. My wife and I enjoyed the upstairs master bed with wet bar and balcony. The kids were always in garage playing foosball or card games. The location was perfect, Alvin’s island next door, CVS and a gas station in walking distance along with different food options. I would recommend this condo to everyone.

Such a treat!

We booked this a while back for our family vacation. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival that the property was just as it was described in the listing. (We’ve stayed in many rental properties and some can be deceiving!) It was very well kept, clean, cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with dish ware, small appliances, etc- everything you need to cook at home. The beach towels and chairs that were provided were a life saver. It’s a great location close to the beach, the walk was a breeze- it’s just right across from the beach. Last but not least, August and Laurel were the most communicative property owners we’ve had the pleasure of doing business with. Extremely kind, genuine, friendly, helpful people. We will definitely be booking this property again in the future.

First FL Experience - GREAT

This was our first beach vacation out of the Carolina's and we weren't sure what to expect. While the beach was really crowded, and the water was two red flags most of the week and there was a lot of rain the first of the trip it was still an awesome week. It was about a block and a half walk crossing traffic to the beach but it was never a problem. Traffic ran like clockwork and ALWAYS respected pedestrians. You do have to go through a locked gate and down steps to get to the beach. The Condo was GREAT and everything was as good or better than shown. The Tiki Bar in the downstairs was an awesome place to hang out during the rain and at night. I don't know that any other units in this complex had anything other than just a garage while this one was set up as a playroom! The owner was communicating all week to make sure everything was okay and meeting our standards. Three of the four bedrooms were really large and well furnished. While the third bedroom was slightly smaller, it worked great for two people. The large kitchen, den and dining area was also enough space for the whole family to hang out. Pompano Joe's is just a short walk and will quickly become your favorite place to eat. I would highly recommend this rental and would have given all 5 stars except for the stairs to the beach for older people like me. It would be the same no matter what unit you were in and I would definitely have preferred this one to any others.

We are an adventurous family with 3 young-adult sons. We love traveling and especially love the beach! When we saw the sand and water of the Emerald Coast, we had to have a piece of it! We hope to share our home with you, so you can enjoy the gorgeous sand and water of the Emerald Coast as well!

Why they chose this property

We love how close this home is to the beach, as well as in walking distance to several favorite restaurants (many that are beach-front). There's plenty of space for multiple families, or a multi-generational family, to enjoy a vacation together. We also enjoy sitting on the top floor balcony, or on the bottom floor patio people-watching, as it's directly on the Miramar Beach walking/biking path!

What makes this property unique

This home is second row to the famous sand of Miramar Beach, with both private and public beach access within one block! There is a separate master suite located through the garage - perfect for grandma/grandpa, or for a family with young children that would prefer some privacy. We also love that each bedroom has its own full bath attached! And peek-a-boo views of the water from the 2nd and 3rd floors! The new tiki bar/game room allows enjoyment for the entire family! Adults can enjoy late night beverages while the children sleep, or the children can enjoy the games while the parents prepare dinner! It's a great place for a family!
