About this property

Affordable Single Family 1+ Mile to Mountain on shuttle to Okemo; River fishing

Located in Ludlow village, a little over 1 mile to the base of Okemo ski mountain, within 20 miles of 5 major ski areas, 1/2 mile to vast snowmobile trail. The village has restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets,& entertainment. Free Okemo shuttle bus pick up in front of house.

Summer in Vermont is also great fun with fishing, boating, golfing at Tater Hill or Fox Run. Our house has a deck off the kitchen so you can sit outside & enjoy the warmer weather in the summer & fall.
You can go hiking at Okemo or biking on the trails; If you like water there are state beaches.
You can use Jackson Gore's fitness center for a small fee and also use the indoor & outdoor pool. You can go shopping at the Manchester VT outlets, or go to Mt Washington; There are free
summer outdoor concerts you can sit by the fire, or go horse back riding. Reservations are accepted by customers 21 and over.

Great summertime retreat

The house was as advertised… Comfortable, well-equipped and pleasant. It was a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were great. The homeowner was very easy to work with via email and was very responsive.. The property manager, who lived right next-door, is a really nice guy and very helpful. It was the perfect getaway from the Midwest summer where the heat and humidity can be oppressive.

Nice little ski cabin

For skiing, you can squeeze in 6 having their own beds (using both pullouts). Short drive to everything. Not much to do in town. Great food at the Irish Pub. Would stay again. They just need a new (taller) coffee pot, it’s the wrong size. Enjoy!!

Great location

Great location in a residential neighborhood close to Okemo and the Long Trail. Beautiful fall foliage and ample hiking around from easy short walks to challenging climbs.

Spacious home - extremely convenient

The house has everything you need. It has enough room for 7 adults sleeping comfortably. The shuttle to the mountain is super convenient. Location is perfect - close to downtown shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The Perfect Spot

My brother and I were looking for a house as a launch point for cycling rides. At the last minute, after a prior booking fell through, I was still able to book this property and I was glad things worked out as they did. It is easy to find from the highway, clean, beautifully maintained, accomodating, and a stone's throw from town. The property description is right on. Thank you! I expect we will be back again............more mountains to cycle. Pedal hard and RideJoe!

cozy home located near Okemo mountain

Our stay was wonderful! The house has been fully remodeled and it is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked. It is close to Okemo mountain. We would love to stay here every year. The listing was accurate and the owners are very nice and helpful. I will recommend this property to my friends, family and the members of my ski club. Overall the property is a wonderful place to stay and we will stay there again.

Okemo Ski Trip

Enjoyed our stay in this cozy home. It was nice to come home to a quiet and clean place after a long day of skiing. Close enough to town to enjoy all the restaurants and shops but far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle! Owners were very helpful and friendly.
