Comfy room
Overall the condo was a good stay. The 3 star overall rating was due more to the lack of a working cable box & issues with the drains in the showers. I am knowledgeable with cable box systems, smart tv's, electronics etc. We knew going in there would not be any wifi (which is lacking in this day and age), but figured there were plenty of channels for the kids to watch during our stay. However, we were unable to get the tv stations to show. We did reach out with the property management company, and they did communicate back to us. We were expecting at some point for a local staff member to come and get the tv working, which never occurred. Another issue was that both tubs had a serious drainage issue. After one shower the tubs were over half full and draining extremely slow. This made for the following shower being done while standing in calf deep water that was dirty from the previous person. There was also a lack of checkout requirements. We were unsure if we should empty the trash cans and/or dishwasher or if we could leave those things. Would have been nice to know just to make sure we are meeting the owners requirements. Everything else was as expected and enjoyable. Thank you. Mike

Gross
The rooms are extremely dated the appliances were from the 70’s. The bathtub basin filled up 3 inches and didn’t drain. The beds were uncomfortable. The toilet bowl had sunflower seeds in the bowl not flushed. The front door didn’t lock properly. The whole resort reminded me of the movie the shining.

Needs an Update
Won’t be staying at this place or Sugar Mountain condos again, the entire condominium and the condo need a huge update. Things need to be cleaned and repainted, refreshed. It’s very 80s. The front door still had a Christmas decoration on it, it’s June. The entrance wasn’t accessible in the front of the condo so you had to go through a back service entrance due to them doing an update and you couldn’t park at the condo even though there was reserved spaces and empty spaces open. There was a shuttle van to take you back and forth to the parking lot but not convenient. The porch was nice, even though there was chipped paint on the porch peeling away and it was dirty, the view was great. The sheets didn’t stay on the bed, they needed deep pocket sheets. Not a place we will come back to we had a great trip despite our stay.

Disappointed
The unit smelled musty because there is no air circulation unless you open the windows and sliding door. NO A/C!… and only 1 fan in the unit. The place was not very clean, couches smelled, bedroom linens smelled dirty, found several loose long strands of hair on the master bathroom floor. Front desk stopped us after we checked in to let us know that pets were not allowed in rental units, after a family with a big dog walk by and got in the elevator. We had to call Vacasa to straight it out and have the front desk person hear the full conversation, even though the listing says “pet friendly”. Will NEVER stay here again!
