The accommodations were just as advertised. Great spaces to hang out, laundry, nice beds and bathrooms but the cherry on top was the deck looking out over the water. That was the best place to enjoy our coffee in the morning and our cocktails at night. Thanks for a great stay.

Amazing Views

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is very clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the views from the porch are hard to beat. Enjoyed several meals on the deck as the furniture was very comfortable.

The house was very quaint and very well supplied for pretty much anything you wanted. The most amazing thing was being able to sit on the deck overlooking the ocean and watching the tide go in and out. Also the Hunter's Super full moon was beyond beautiful as it reflected across the water. We could not have asked for better weather coming from Texas heat. All in all I would highly recommend this property for peace and quiet and the beauty of nature. We were also very privileged to have spotted a bald eagle flying over head one morning.

Best of Both Worlds

This cottage is in a perfect location for day trips and has a beautiful view to start and end your day. The neighborhood was quiet and the nights were cool for sleeping. The backyard and deck are private with no neighbors overlooking the property. We loved it!

Amazing Views and Well Kept Home

We couldn’t be happier with the house. Communication was outstanding, signage and expectations made clear. Location was PERFECT! Views are to die for. I honestly thought that it couldn’t be as good as the pictures, it was better. He’s very comfortable and they even have fans for those that need a little white noise. Cynthia and Dana are terrific to work with! The look, layout and feel of this place is amazing! A true home away from home. Grateful for the opportunity to have early morning sunrises on the deck and late movie nights together. We explored the coast, the gardens and viewed lots of wildlife and enjoyed wonderful food. Stockton Springs, on the coast of Maine

A very nice home. Beautiful location. Unfortunately, not very convenient to Bar Harbor and Mt Desert Island. Exploring the area was an option but there isn't much to explore close by. The property is on the water, is very clean, almost as if no one had ever lived there. The owners have done a great job of keeping it up. We had fairly good weather with no rain and just a little cool at times and nice and warm at times. We could enjoy just being outside in this quiet atmosphere. Owners were very helpful in communicating with us about the area and the home. I would stay there again. Being from Northern California, I can't be a regular guest.

PERFECT! Beautiful home on the water

We concluded our 2 week fall foliage trip with a 3-night stay here. The home is situated right on the water down in the cove so if feels secluded even though there are neighbors. The furnishings are lovely, and everything we needed was provided. It was especially nice having a full size washer and dryer. We sat at the firepit each night and listened to the seagulls chatter. The moonrise each night was something out of a fairy tale. The water is so calm that it feels more like a lake than the ocean. The location makes a perfect hub for day tripping. We drove the coastline and the countryside each day, and the drive in all directions was easy and beautiful. This property is a jewel. I am so glad we found you, and can't wait to return. Thank you for a delightful ending to a magnificent trip!

Gorgeous views

Beautiful property about an hour drive from Acadia. Stocked with everything we needed, and had incredibly comfortable beds! Wish we had stayed longer, didn’t get a chance to enjoy the deck and back yard like I wanted to. Would definitely recommend.

We love being near the salt water and enjoy sharing this experience with others. We have rented homes all over the world and were always disappointed that they lacked the most basic things to make for an enjoyable vacation. When we outfitted our second home, we wanted to offer everything someone would need for a comfortable get away. Why they chose this property

The property is very private with over 450 ft of waterfrontage and over two acres of land. The views and sunrises are amazing. The house is on a 6-mile loop road that follows the coast. Walking or biking around the loop is recommended. Only a mile or so from the Fort Point Lighthouse State Park and state park beach. Also, the town has a beach, marina, park and boat landing 2 miles from the property.

What makes this property unique

Great large deck and outside oceanside firepit for enjoying a glass of wine while enjoying the great view. Bald eagles are seen daily fishing right in front of the house. A very large lawn rolls down to the ocean which is a great place to enjoy provided lawn games (croquet, bean bag toss and horseshoes). Small private sandy beach with great access from both sides of the property. Beach chairs, coolers and umbrella supplied for you.
