The property is absolutely beautiful and everything is fresh. The master bedroom was especially nice and roomy and we appreciated the quality of the mattress. The house is located in such an interesting area that we enjoyed looking at the variety of homes. The beach is amazing. We walked to the local pizza spot around the corner and had delicious wood fired pizza. The back yard has fire pit and hot tub with a private view of the woods. It’s a great house

House was very clean and everything was just as nice or nicer than in the pictures . Location was good for our purpose and was close to many activities and restaurants. The house is in a very nice and quiet wooded neighborhood. Hot tub, fire place and sauna were very nice additions as it was starting to get cool when we were there. Kitchen was very nice and seems well equipped but we did not use it as we ate out. The only one thing that I can possible come up with as an improvement is that the windows on the front of the house could use some window coverings, other than then that, I would highly recommend this house and would stay again.

End of summer getaway

Such an amazing home. This is the second time we have stayed in this neighborhood and I would definitely stay at this house, again. It was clean and the pictures looked exactly like the post. We also loved the closeness of the beach. Thanks to the hosts! Our family had a wonderful time!

This house was amazing! We’ve been coming to Michigan City for the last 5 summers and this was our favorite place by far! The hot tub outside was so nice and private- perfect for the cloudy and drizzly day we had. The pictures online really don’t do the house justice- it is even more beautiful in person! We had two toddlers with us so to make it easy, we drove to the beach and had one of the adults walk back and forth to get the car to pick the kids up. The beach was amazing- clear water, sand bars, soft sand and not crowded. We will definitely be booking this one again next year!

House was amazing and clean. Beds were comfortable. Weather was nice to enjoy the clean hot tub and fire table. Plenty of towels provided for hot tub and showering. Sauna was a good added touch. No complaints! As a group of moms we have a couple of suggestions to add: nightstands in downstairs bedroom, mixing bowls in kitchen and towel hooks outside. :-)

3day visit to Dunes

Beautiful, well appointed, clean new home. Very comfortable enjoyable stay. Great area and convenient to everything we were looking for, beaches, grocery store, great restaurants, fun shops, boating and the Dunes. They even provided beach towels to borrow. Check in and out was super easy. Communication was good, Info in Welcome book about the area was very helpful. Wished we had a lot longer to stay in the area! Thanks for your thoughtfulness as hosts!

Michigan City Farm House

This place was absolutely beautiful, I would give it a much higher rating if I could. Everything was exactly how it looked on the site, which was quite a surprise. Very quiet neighborhood and we all slept like we were in our own homes. I challenge anyone to find one thing wrong with it. Book this one if available, you will not regret it. Will be back next year.

A Must-Stay at This Hidden Gem

This newly constructed BEAUTIFUL home located in a quiet neighborhood had all the amenities we needed for a getaway with our friends. Upon entering, we felt like we were walking into an HGTV decorated home and felt very welcomed and relaxed. We were able to take walks throughout the neighborhood as well as on a nice walking trail through the woods. After a fun days outing, we would return to our retreat and sit around a private, cozy gas fire pit while playing games and listening to the birds. When contacting the homeowners, they responded quickly and were very friendly and hospitable. We would definitely consider staying again someday!!!

Girlfriend's getaway

The property was exceptional, we actually thought it was the nicest rental VRBO we have stayed in. Not only the new construction, but all your extra touches. The home is beautiful, the outside patio was fabulous and the hot tub an added bonus. We enjoyed the sauna too.The interior was nicely decorated, everything we needed for our entertainment. We had a fun evening watching old music video's and playing name that tune on the big screen TV. The stereo in the hot tub rocked. We had deer walk through the yard and we took a nice walk to the lake. The rain stopped long enough Sunday for us to enjoy the boat races. 6 friends celebrating over 40 years of friendship couldn't let a little rain ruin our trip. Thank you for sharing your home, we made a lot of memories.

Perfect Stay

After spending 5 days and 4 nights on this short-term rental, I felt compelled to document how happy I was with the experience. The design of the house and the interior design was impeccable. The house was well thought out and featured, a hot tub, sauna, fire pit and big screen TVs in all rooms. All the furniture pieces were clean, well maintained and of a higher quality than I was used to in previous rentals. The kitchen utensils were organized in such a way to make cooking, cleaning, and putting dishes away easy. No misfit silverware or dishes or towels to sort through. Simple and easy to understand instructions on how to care for their home made it a very pleasant experience for me and the family. If I were to go back to Michigan City, IN or somewhere nearby and this house was not available on my selected vacation days; I would change my vacation days to match the house’s availability. I have no doubt this rental will be as pristine if I were to return as it was on my initial visit. 5 STAR REVIEW!!
