Treat yourself to an Outdoor Shower on the deck and a "PRIVATE" HOT TUB (AVAILABLE ALL YEAR including winter) Gas fireplace (not operating during summer), an Electric massage chair and an on-site professional body massage or Yoga. By appointment, and extra charge. 2 mountain bikes, tandem, and female cruiser (not available winter). A two person JACUZZI TUB, with a TV, for viewing while you are lying in the tub. Pour water on the rocks of the HOT ROCK SAUNA, to make steam. Belgium Waffle Machine and Snow Cone Machine. Enjoy a FULL-SIZE PACMAN ARCADE MACHINE (w/ 60 games from the 1980s) CRUSIN U.S.A ( with steering wheel and gas pedal ). Golden Tee Golf Machine/Road Kings Pinball/ Play Station 4/ Wac-A-Mole. 2-person basketball game with 7-inch basketballs, 2 hoops and electronic scoreboard. The games are all free and good for rainy days. 2 Paddle Boards, 3 Kayaks, Boogie Boards,( Summer only), and Bean Bag Toss- Cornhole and Spike Ball Games for the beach. Free Soda machine w/ 4 flavors, Belgium waffle, Shaved ice and Popcorn machines, 3 types of Coffee machines and coffee grinder. View the wildlife in the wilderness next to the rental at our feeding station during the daytime or on your TV through a night vision camera.

(including children and guests) maximum at all times, including guests. Age limit minimum is 25 of the primary renter, Children are welcome. 2 Night Minimum. Pets are allowed $75 fee (please pay the pet fee on the VRBO site), shedding dogs keep brushed and uncontrolled barking is not allowed. If you go out and leave your dog alone , please don't leave your dog alone the first night. 2 pet maximum.
This unit has panoramic views of the lake and dunes and is surrounded by wilderness on 2 sides of an unused park. There is nothing between you and the fine, sandy beach except a short walk down the footpath through the sand dunes to the lake. The sand is so fine that when you drag your feet, it actually squeaks. Access the hot tub or the BBQ on the deck or stay inside and listen to the soothing sounds of Lake Michigan’s surf ( when the waves are up) and the songs of the crickets in the dunes. Let the sounds lull you to sleep. The master bedroom features a king-size/four-poster bed. This is a 5-star accommodation at an awesome, natural 5-star location. Beach chairs are provided.

Our priority was a fun beach vacation and this BnB hit all the buttons! Short walk to beach, beach was wide, uncrowded, and beautiful. An abundance of beach toys provided, from kayaks to paddleboards, assortment of life jackets, and beach towels! Very clean, great supplies in kitchen. Keurig cups provided, but coffee snobs may want to bring your own beans. Massage recliner and hot tub were a hit. And for the kids both young and old, arcade games! Highly recommend.

Overall the area was nice. The home was a little hard to get to. Not much room to park. I wouldn’t suggest taking a big vehicle. The host was very good with communication and gave great detail on how to get to the room.

Beach is beautiful. Easy access. However there is major construction going on next-door, and the noise is unbearable. Owner was apologetic and allowed us a little extra time to check out as a courtesy but for the price and with old state of house & the noise it’s definitely not worth it. Even without the noise, it is way overpriced.

Just got home from our 29th Wedding Anniversary stay at the Lake House . I would tell anyone who is planning a stay here to book an extra day or two. Sand gravity was real for us as the beach was so perfect during our Aug 7 & Aug 8 visit. There is so much to do and see not only in the town of Michigan City but on the property as well . I could not get enough of the massage chair . AMAZING !! I saw a mom & baby deer from the balcony . Seeing the deer made my whole night ! We made waffles and headed out to the beach to rock hunt , visited the lighthouse , had many great meals & cocktails . This was a 4. 1/2 hr drive from our home in Illinois . Very worth it . We hope to come back each year . Can’t think of any negatives other than it was a little tricky to get out of the parking spot but it seems like that’s the norm in the area . I’m not sure who I spoke to via email but the Manager onsite was very kind & respected our privacy . Next time we will book a longer stay . Thank you for sharing your home with us . The Mueller’s from Illinois .

The photos are outdated, the outside area is overgrown and not maintained and has a lot of clutter and broken items. It’s not “steps away from the beach” you have to choose a path and the one belonging to the home is horrible, host advises to go down two houses and use theirs but it’s definitely a hike. The balcony is unstable and safety rails wobble. Hot tub is outdated and broken. The home has carpet even in the kitchen which again is older outdated carpet. Entry way is full of storage/junk/dirty linens. Listing says there are two jacuzzi tubs and in fact there is only one but don’t get too comfortable because every light switch is on a timer that annoyingly ticks and you have to keep turning it back on to have lights which was another downside because for 2,700 for a weekend I should be able to leave a bathroom light on for my kid if I want. There is dirt and grime along all the grout and jacuzzi tub. Ceiling leaks in multiple spots including the dining room table while you’re eating. The host is very nice and thoroughly explains arrival and how to hike to the beach oh and parking because you can only have one car but that’s done AFTER you book and pay. Some things and true honest photos should be posted prior to people paying so they can look at other options if they choose to.

Affordable (considering the beach location and many amenities), spacious, and beautiful, quick walk to the lake! The property is not perfect, but it has character, and it is a great value for what you get. We would return.

Great little getaway

My family and I had a great time staying at the beach house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved the arcade games and the hot tub. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. Great beach access, just wish it was a little warmer :)

Cold weekend but no reason to leave

Good location, daily deer sightings, great got tub and sauna and add multiple arcade games. What a way to spend a weekend with a couple teenagers.
