~The Space~

The main level is a large open space with vaulted ceilings and a fully loaded kitchen including S/S appliances. There is a custom wood dining table that seats 8 and the living room has a large wood burning fireplace with comfy couches.The mudroom has a washer and dryer, seating to take off all your gear and a half bath. There is unlimited wifi with access to all the favorites including Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney Plus. The loft has a projector screen equipped with all the favorites plus over 30 Nintendo 64 games. The Hot tub and BBQ are located on the large private deck. There is ample parking for 3 vehicles of any size! Only a 30 second ski ride or a 5 minute walk to the village and offering the best stay at Apex Mountain!

~Beds and Baths~

The main level includes a master bedroom with a queen bed and 3 piece private ensuite. The upper level offers 3 bedrooms and one full bathroom. First bedroom is a queen, the second bedroom is a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on the top and the loft has a queen pull out with a privacy curtain to make a third sleeping room.

Hot Tub Cleaning Policy - If the previous guests have left the water untreated and dirty, we will dump the water and add fresh water for your arrival. This may mean cold water for your first night but will be warm and ready the next day!

Apex spring skiing adventure!

We had a wonderful time, skiing in and out and enjoying a wood fire in the evening sunshine while the kids were in the hot tub. A great family experience!

Great ski-in/out

Room for all and well thought out experience by the hosts. Plenty of firewood at the ready, complimentary Bailey's, clean new hottub with peaceful views of the surrounding forest, comfortable beds/linens, and with all the amenities of a newer build. Easy ski in/out via Strayhorse Trail. We'd stay here again!

Great stay, location is convienent to Nickel plate cross country, 5 - 10 minute drive and obviously Apex alpine. Accommodation was comfortable and would stay again. Michelle was very helpful and accessible.

Apex Ski Trip

Excellent experience for a group ski trip! The kitchen was well stocked with equipment for cooking in the evenings and included a BBQ. The hot tub was great. Access to the chairlifts and village was very convenient on both skis and foot.

Family stay for my 40th Birthday

Spent the weekend on the hill, During vertical and vintages which was a wine tasting. Was a great event and a great weekend overall.

Wonderful clean place with well stocked kitchen and beautiful views. We were able to host a dinner of 16 for our extended family after my niece's wedding with no issue. Hot tub was a bonus.

Perfect for a family

Th property was as described and was clean and super comfy for our family. Thoughtful little additions made it extra special and welcoming. Plenty of space and a well-stocked kitchen that made cooking, food prep, and eating together easy! Also- there were enough towels for showers AND the hot tub- I appreciate that! Good communication and easy check-in; would definitely recommend this place.

A Christmas to Remember

We had an amazing time at Trailside Lodge over the holiday. The chalet was stocked to the nines with every dish we needed to have a turkey dinner for 8. We even baked cookies for desserts! We also appreciated the pre cut firewood on the deck and the hot tub set up and ready to go as soon as we got there. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. We look forward to making this a tradition going forward.
