Olympic Condo - Whiteface Club Resort - Views - Jackrabbit Trail - STR 200356

Olympic Resort Condominiums were built in the late 1970’s to be used specifically for housing the competing athletes in the 1980 Winter Olympics. Olympic Condo was recently remodeled to include two bedrooms and one bath with an open floor plan that offers golf course and mountain views, a dining area, well equipped kitchen, living area and glass sliders leading to a covered balcony.
Whiteface Club & Resort on the shore of Lake Placid lake offers amenities for the whole family on a fee basis including a full-service Marina, two restaurants, an 18-hole Championship golf course, 6 clay Tennis courts, hiking and biking trails. Winter offers cross country skiing on groomed trails through the golf course, back country skiing on the Jackrabbit trail system, snowshoeing, ice skating and tubing.
The resort is a short two-mile drive to the Olympic Village of Lake Placid for exploring the Olympic venues, shopping and restaurants. Nine miles to Whiteface Mountain for skiing, mountain biking during the summer months or taking a gondola ride to see the views of the Adirondack wilderness. Cross Country Ski at the Olympic Complex/Mt. Vanhoevenberg, try a Bobsled or Luge run on the original Olympic tracks or Ice Skate on the Olympic Oval. Lake Placid has it all.

Main street is few minutes away by car. Managed by property owner, very accessible.

Perfect family getaway

Condo had everything we needed and more. Pictures were very accurate and communication with the owner was excellent. Condo provided a perfect home base for us to explore Lake Placid and the Adirondack area. Very safe area to run and take walks. West Shore BBQ is located a short distance from the condo and is an excellent place to pick up lunch or supper.Thank you Dan for a great stay!

Comfy Adirondack’s Stay

My husband and I stay here each year for our anniversary. Great location to do some hiking but also spend an afternoon in Saranac Lake. The condo is perfect for us - quiet, comfy and an easy in and out.

Great stay at a perfect location!

This is a great place to vacation. The condo was equipped with everything we needed which made things very convenient. The location is great, so close to Lake Placid and minutes to some of the major destinations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay visit Lake Placid, it is close enough but just far enough out of the hustle and bustle.

Ironman Lake Placid

We’ve visited LP several times, this is by far the best accomodations and our family couldn’t have been with the townhouse. Just a short drive from downtown it was in a serene, quiet location. Very well appointed and nicely decorated. Hope to stay here again on our next trip.

Great location for a weekend away

Stayed at this property over the weekend with my family of 5 (kids age range 2-8). The space was perfect for our family. My boys loved the room with the bunk beds and plenty of space for the 5 of us. The location was perfect! Right next to the lake placid lodge and down the road from whiteface lodge. Few minute drive down to the main street. Recommend this property for your trip!

Convenient, comfy and

We had a great stay. Dan's place was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. Had all the necessities and and a few more. Our 2 very tall teens used the bunk room and loved it despite the usual upper bunk length limitations. Nice cozy little nook in there with TV, bean bag chairs, and "fireplace style" heater. The condo was very convenient to downtown Lake Placid, and to Whiteface for skiing. Dan was quick to respond to any questions I had. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely Space!

Three friends and I stayed at Dan’s property for a close friend’s wedding. The space was beautiful, very clean, with lots of cool ski and Iron Man memorabilia. We especially loved having morning coffee on the balcony looking out at the woods. We’d definitely come back!

Excellent stay

Apartment was beautiful inside and newly renovated. If we had any issue Dan the host was available and quick to respond. I would highly recommend staying here. Given the place is right next to a pond there are a few mosquitoes on your way into the building but apartment had a view of the golf course and was trully stunning.

Just what we were looking for!

Well appointed space in a perfect location. Short drive to village and shops and grocery store is just down the road. We rented kayaks and dined at the restaurant at the resort, which were just a short walk down to the lake. Very quiet and people were friendly. Unit was spotless and comfortable.

Cozy retreat in the Adirondacks

We loved our stay at this cozy, well maintained property! It's situated about a 5-minute drive from Lake Placid and is surrounded by woods, with a golf course nearby. The property worked perfectly for our family of 4 and we all agreed that it was perfectly decorated, had all the amenities we needed, and was well located in terms of wanting to get into Lake Placid and also do outdoorsy activities, such as hiking. We'd definitely consider staying here again!
