Perfect Place

We live in the neighbor, but our house is too small to host overnight guests, so I reserved this condo for my family for 6 nights. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. All of the essentials for a home are available and the grocery store is just a few blocks away. Great location near lake and restaurants. Easy to communicate with owner through the app. Will definitely book again for visitors.

Disappointed

The showers have orange/pink mold on the curtains. The paint is peeling from the tiles in the showers. Overall, it did not feel clean. There was a wasp next by the door. It did not feel "Chic"

Hi Christopher, Thank you for your feedback — I take all guest comments seriously and use them to improve. That said, none of these concerns were brought to my attention during your stay. I truly prioritize hearing from guests in real time so I know where to focus and can address any issues promptly. As fate would have it, my cleaning team flagged the shower curtain right after your departure — it’s already been replaced, and a full shower refinish is scheduled and underway. I also personally stopped by the unit and removed the wasp nest near the door. Had you let me know during your stay, I would have addressed these issues immediately. In the future, please communicate with your hosts — many things can be resolved with a simple message. Thanks again for staying with me.

Lacking Attention

Property was as described but lacked cleanliness and attention to detail. Responsive owners but hard to make up for the stains on the headboard, pillows, comforters. No sponges to help clean. Batteries in TV remote were dead. Mold on the shower curtain. Dirty floors and carpet. Dishes were left in the dishwasher, towels left in the dryer. There is more to mention but thankfully we didn’t have to spend much time inside the unit. I don’t want to be picky but for the price point of this stay we all expected a higher standard of cleanliness. I have stayed in many VRBOs in my life and debated on leaving this review but these issues need to be addressed.

I'm not able to check the unit between cleanings so this is very helpful to hear as I would never want a guests stay to be lacking - and apologize for the state of the space that you experienced. As fate would have it, I recently changed maids because of some miscommunication issues and the NEW cleaning team came this week after your stay - additionally, I noticed the items you called out (so thank you for your detailed awareness and feedback). A deep clean was needed and has been completed. I also noticed the linens, so those have already been ordered. Caught the tv remote batteries as well - updated! I've implied my own standards to this new cleaning team and hope that no other guest has this experience moving forward. Thank you for sharing your feedback!

NICE APARTMENT!

Our stay at Ashton's apt was very nice and comfortable. In a quiet neighborhood but close enough to drive to where we needed to go. We did not have much time to hang out, relax and enjoy the space but again, it was very nice, clean and comfortable!
