This home is comfortable for 4 people. It can sleep up to 6 (if two want to sleep on the queen sofa bed), but there is an additional charge over 4 people of $75 per person/per stay. Home has washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen; etc.; shaded wood deck and covered cooking area; located inside Loop 360 / Capital of Texas Highway on Westlake Hills side of main body of Lake Austin; 1.0 acre, waterfront; covered boat house with sun deck; nice swimming beach, unobstructed view of Mount Bonnell, a major Austin landmark; kayak, fire pit; gas grill; charcoal grill; many hardwood shade trees.
Location is very convenient to all parts of Austin - down town and University of Texas approximately 3.5 miles away.

Peace of paradise in busy Austin

Perfect location and environment for a relaxing vacation. Me and my wife spent 5 days just watching the boats go by and listening to the waves crash against the sea wall. It was amazing. The house has everything you need and well kept for an older property. Throughout the house you can see the pride they have in their family and their home they have kept for years. Will definitely be back.

Who wants to get away?

I do! And that is just what we did when we stayed here. Lake life quiet and relaxing. The home is cozy and the grounds are beautifully cared for with lush grass that extends right out to the water that is directly in front of you! We will hands down, stay here again. Can't wait! :)

Beautiful view of Lake Austin

We had a wonderful time! Enjoyed early morning coffee by the lake, kayaking in the afternoons, BBQ’s and campfires at night. So relaxing it was hard to leave. The owner was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had.

This is a cozy home on Lake Austin with amazing pecan & cottonwood trees, a fantastic St Augustine yard, and a great boat dock to gather/lounge on. Ideal spot for R&R.

Wonderful, relaxing time on the Lake

Such a comfortable and wonderful house - you can't beat the location! We spent most of our time sitting on the great deck, or sitting on the patio set right next to the water just watching the boats pass and waves crash. We also took advantage of the kayaks to explore the little tributary that is right next to the property, there is a little hidden lagoon area we loved kayaking into in the mornings! A Very comfortable stay, nothing we were missing. Hope to come back here again!

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful property! We were able to kayak and float on the water. It does get a little wavy with the boat traffic, but that added to the fun! We really enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect weekend getaway

Property was lovely, everything was there for our every need. Owner was very responsive. So convenient for my Austin guests. Much easier to get to than Lake Travis and super quiet and relaxing. Water was clear. Calm in the am. Minor waves from boats was super fun for us - we had noodles and floats. Also we found some 20 ft lengths of rope to ‘tie up’ to the dock so that we could just loll around and not drift. We hope to return!

Loved the place! Very nice and quiet. It was very home feeling. Refrigerators and cable on the patio and dock as well. Didn’t really get in the water because the waves were strong from the boats around the area. But still relaxing. Put a blowup pool for my three year to use in the nice back yard. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend. I would do it again!
