Located on the outer dock on the 2nd floor, this uncommon Sitka lodging opportunity offers commanding views of Sitka Channel and surrounding islands to the northwest. Original cannery-era exposed timbers, tasteful appointments, and cozy furnishings create a truly unique experience for those seeking a memorable get-a-way.

The Loft's 1200 sf layout can comfortably accommodate families or groups of up to ten people, with one private bedroom with a queen bed, two semi-private berth rooms each with two XL twin beds, one LaCrosse full sleeper sofa, and a futon sleeper chair in the skylight alcove (great for kids). A spacious fully equipped kitchen, comfortable dining and living areas, two bathrooms and laundry facilities complete the amenities.

Great place and location

The place is nice and large, has a dinning area that accommodates 10, and the kitchen is large and well stocked. We had 9 guys stay there and it was a bit crowded for sleeping arrangements (7 would be about perfect) but made it work. Christine was very quick to respond and provided additional items upon request. We will stay here again on our next fishing trip to Sitka.

Great loft in Sitka!

We had a great time! Perfect location, close to downtown. Great view of boats in action. We used the kayaks, as the weather was beautiful.

Fisherman’s Quay Loft July 2024

The pictures and the loft overall is really nice. If lists as sleeping 10 but I would say the listing should be 6. The early communication was fine but the day before showing up got an email with all the restrictions on arrival and departure times and not arriving early or checking out late. Which if you haven’t been to Sitka, your transportation is limited so if your flight times are off from their arrival and checkout times you are out of luck. The email and the book state they are willing to accommodate you for early or late check out but that is definitely not the case. We liked the place but the property management was disappointing and honestly quite difficult.

Hi Dave, We appreciate your feedback. In regards to early check ins/late check outs we try to accommodate when we can however during our peak summer season most reservations are back to back which doesn't give cleaners much time to clean, prepare and address any maintenance issues prior to the next group check in time. We are happy to store luggage upon request and we also send guests prior to their arrival suggestions on airport transfer options. We appreciate you understanding that our staff works very hard to provide a sparkling clean and well put together rental for our guests and takes pride in making guests stays memorable with providing such great accommodations and customer service. We appreciate guests giving our cleaners enough time to do their job thoroughly. In regards to the sleeping up to 10 guests, we often accommodate groups of 10 very nicely in the Loft. Our staff does a great job of adding additional beds and making it very comfortable for guests. We've received a lot of great reviews from groups of 10.

Being right on the water, you’ll never be bored watching boats going in and out of the sound. The property has an amazing kitchen if you choose to cook, or you can easily walk to great cafes and coffee shops.

The location was a short walk away from Downtown but no too close. The loft was clean and had enough comforable beds to fit our crowd. We loved the dining area. We were able to get fresh Dungeness crabs for a big family crab boil. We enjoyed the bikes and kayaks available, it's such a beautiful place. The staff was quick to respond when needed and professional. We would definitely recommend staying at Fisherman's Quay.

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed here for our last few days in Sitka before reluctantly moving away after a two year stay. For us, the Loft captured everything that is special about living and working on the water in Sitka, with commercial and sport fishing boats, float planes, and even Coast Guard cutters motoring by all day long in the harbor in front of a picturesque island and mountain backdrop. The loft itself was very clean, spacious, and very well laid out, feeling much more like a 3 bedroom rental for a one bedroom cost. Without a doubt the Loft will be our first choice for future visits back to the town we love so much!
