Weekend stay From Ohio

While this property is no longer ‘new’, it is a nice newer Construction unit. The unit is in a quiet area but convenient driving range from town and services/stores/restaurants etc.

A great stay at an excelent home.

We had a great stay at this property. There is plenty of room, and the home is immaculate and organized. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I wish we had another day to enjoy the outside space, but we were busy visiting and taking in the area. I hope to visit again!

Great location, clean, and well appointed.

My wife and I spent the week in Johnson City and this home was perfect for our stay. From booking to checkout Preston was quick to respond and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we need a place to stay in Johnson City.

One Night in Johnson City

Fantastic place to stay! Everything we needed, close to anything we could want. Unfortunately, were were in town for a funeral, and only one night, but we will certainly try to book this again in the future!!! Wonderful property!!

Listing was accurate, location was close proximity to many resturaunts, sight seeing outings, music and grocery stores. Everything anybody would need is no more than 10 minutes away. House was very comfortable for my wife and I, plus our teo grandkids stay wi with us for 5 days.

Nice Johnson City location

In Johnson City for family gathering. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only critique, is checkout instructions posted at the house differed from those sent from the owner.

Okay place to stay in JC

This is an okay property in Johnson City that needs a little attention. When we arrived, the grass was overdue for a cut ( it was cut on Saturday), but it wasn’t the best first impression. The outdoor furniture was also well overdue to be cleaned from debris that had blown onto the patio and furniture. We had to clean it in order to sit on it. We had five people, but only had four bath towels. I contacted Preston and he was quick to respond and apologize and said he would get in touch with the cleaners. He offered to reimburse us to go purchase another towel, which wasn’t really an option since I was waiting for the rest of my group to arrive and I would have to then wash and dry the towel. A lot of extra work for something I shouldn’t have to do. And we never got an extra towel. The towels we had were pretty worn and a couple of them were stained. The only hairdryer is in the master bedroom bath and it’s attached to the wall. Very inconvenient and is a simple $20 fix to have a hairdryer in both bathrooms. The side door had weatherstripping missing around the deadbolt lock area (you could see daylight around the door). Not sure what was going on with it. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend earplugs because the train comes through around 6:30/7 am (it came through on Saturday and Sunday mornings) and you can hear the train horn very well. The property is convenient to a lot of things in JC and the surrounding area.

It was exactly like the photos on Verbo. Great location and very close to everything in Johnson City. Spent a week there for our granddaughters wedding. Will definitely stay there again.

Mow the grass

First impressions are crucial, and his place did not make a good first impression. First, the grass had not been mowed in many weeks, preventing us from doing anything in the yard. Some of the bricks on the walkway were loose, creating a tripping hazard. I had to contact the host to get check-in information the morning of our reservation. The check-in information was confusing, with numerous special instructions, especially about the door lock mechanism. If you must give people numerous special instructions, it is time to change the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism does not make the door seem very secure either. My family and I have stayed at numerous VRBOs over the years and never had a problem with the locking mechanism. We stayed in another VRBO after this one, and all was silky smooth, and the first impressions and overall impressions were great. Moreover, some of the bath towels provided were still damp, making for an unpleasant after-shower experience. The unsecured rugs inside the house curl up every time you walk on them, posing a tripping hazard. Plus, the rugs are unnecessary. Finally, the bathtub in the master bedroom has black spots. The house was advertised as brand new. How can a brand-new house already have black spots on the tub? As I stated, my family and I have stayed at numerous VRBOs previously and had good experiences. This place was far short of our expectations.

Quiet neighborhood
