The host was very easy to communicate with and the location was very tranquil. We enjoyed a comfortable, quiet week in the hot tub and the screened porch was peaceful. Would stay here again!
This location is serene and a beautiful quiet spot in the woods. The porches were great but need better seating options. We did not use the hot tub as the weather was too warm. The home was very cozy and lovely but needs some updated throw pillows and seating was difficult for people over 65. (The sofa seat is 12" off the floor)The kitchen could use a new fry pan and some sharp knives. Our overall stay was good and with a few tweaks this could be a fantastic rental.
We stayed at Treeline Cabin and had an amazing experience. Melody was a wonderful host and consistently checked in to make sure we were enjoying our visit. The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, and felt like home — and we loved being able to bring our two dogs with us. Thank you Melody for making our getaway special, we’ll definitely be back!
Our stay was amazing. All we wanted to do was go on hikes. Cook meals at the cabin and go in the hot tub. Tree-lined cabin had absolutely everything needed to do just that.
Small cabin tucked away in the mountains that was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. the cabin is very clean for one that allows dogs. We did not have one and there was no evidence that there was ever one there before! All the beds a queens and the master bedroom is large compared to the overall size of the cabin.
It was a really cute place ,,, the drive up the mountain was a bit nerve wracking for this flat land Florida girl but absolutely loved the setting ,,, being in nature ,, my favorite part was coffee on the open deck ,,, just me, Folgers and God ,,, doesn’t get much better than that ,,,, thank you for everything ,, brenda
Melody was very helpful with all of our questions and concerns. We appreciate her patience and rapid responses. The Treeline Cabin was just perfect for our 4 night stay. Thank you so much Melody!
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful! We wanted to feel like we were in the woods in a tree house, and when you're on the beautiful back porch you feel alone in the woods! It's very peaceful, well-kept, and Melody was very helpful and responsive. We also loved that it was dog friendly! We definitely recommend staying at this place if you want a lovely peaceful escape
We arrived at the property and thought we had the wrong place. The pictures did not accurately reflect the condition of the house. The porches were not clean. The grill was rusted out. The hot tub cover was ripped and torn. The hot tub itself ( questionable as to whether the water was properly conditioned) smelled extremely strongly of chlorine. We walked inside the house and were immediately hit with a musty, moldy very strong odor. Kind of like great grandmas house way back when. Our dog walked in the door and started shaking violently. Within 30 minutes he was gagging. There was some kind of ancient heater protruding from the wall. We left within an hour of checking in. I immediately sent a message to the owner……..crickets….no reply at all other than hey Tommie how’s everything so far. So I sent the message AGAIN. As of today there has been no reply at all. I will definitely never book another VRBO because what you see isn’t what you get.
