About this property

Cozy Camp Nestled In The Woods by the Carrabassett River, on 20 acres .

Cozy camp in the woods , 850 feet west off route 27 into the Maine woods. The property is on both sides of route 27, with much to offer. Walking trails and frontage on the Carrabassett River all on our 20 Acres. The ATV and snowmobile trails are directly accessed off the property , including the ATV Moose loop. There are several long and short trail loops . Take advantage of Huts and Trails Hiking , the Appalachian trail is only 18 miles north. Sugarloaf is 20 miles north for top rated golf, or skiing in winter. We are also five mins from Freeman Ridge bike park, or you can ride to it through the woods.

Feel like shopping? Our property is 1 mile south of Kingfield, a 3 min drive, with Longfellows restaurant or we are 2 hours north , from Portlands' world class dining and craft beer venues and our property is only 1.5 hours north of the outlet stores of Freeport Maine.

Sleeping is set up with a loft area that sleeps 5 to 6 and private bedroom off the main living area with Queen bed. There is an additional sleeper sofa in the main room. The property has a fully equipped kitchen, covered BBQ at the base of the lawn and washer/dryer in the basement.

Please note....Camp is split into two private, noise insulated sections.

Owner reserves the right to use the north end half, the uncovered half, with no porch.
The property has a new pond , constructed in the summer of 2022 .

Great accommodations
We stayed while wrapping up a local project. Plenty of beds and a cozy set up which had all accommodations we needed.

Weekend Alpine Race/Ski Getaway
This property is nestled on a wooded lot within minutes to the cute town of Kingsfield and 15-20 minutes to Sugarloaf. The house had all amenities that we needed. Beds were comfortable and clean. Dogs were allowed which was needed for our travel. The owner communicated when needed.

Descent home away from home
We were in the area to snowboard at Sugarloaf, no more than 30min drive. Grocery store and gas station are within 5min drive. The property is great for walks and snowmobiling. The family enjoyed the loft style. The amenities in the kitchen were subpar, lack of adequate utensils, plates/bowls cookware. The bathrooms didnt have enough handsoap. The laundry area was dirty and had feathers on the counter, hunters might have left it. I'd recommend it for adults but not for families.
