Quaint cabin near hiking
We had such a wonderful time at Sam’s cabin! The cabin was cozy and comfortable. We had picked out a few hikes before we arrived but ended up using some of Sam’s recommendations which were great! He also had great recommendations for restaurants the few nights we ate our. The cabin is also well-equipped and super comfortable to eat in, which we did a few times as well. Definitely worth a stay!!

What a beautiful spot!
Such a beautiful place! Pictures don’t do this place justice. Felt very homey, was spotless. Little touches like a new sponge did not go unnoticed! Highly recommend.

Labor Day Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO property. The host was very attentive and responsive when questions came up. I used to live nearby this property 40 years ago, so many memories flooded back. Wire Bridge nearby, access to the Carrabasset River was awesome. Went to Flagstaff Lake and enjoyed lunch and dinner in nearby Kingfield (12 minutes or so away.) All in all, a very restful and wonderful time. Great property! Would definitely return for skiing next winter!

Nice getaway location
It's a very nice place, very quiet area too. We saw some deer in the morning and spent some time in the river by the wire bridge every day we were there.

I live year round about an hour away, but my family and I come up every chance we can. We love XC skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and just being outside.

Why they chose this property

It's a little slice of heaven - not too far from the necessities, but if you don't want to see a soul you won't.

What makes this property unique

Some of the apple trees are over a hundred years old! In addition to the orchard, you will have almost complete privacy on the property. When a car goes by on the road (which rarely happens), you can hear it, but you won't see anyone while on the property.
