This condo at the Golf Villas was perfect for our family of four. It was clean, well maintained, and fully stocked with all the kitchen and beach stuff needed to enjoy the week. We loved that it was further away from the super touristy resort areas. The Kapalua area was quieter, less crowded, had lovely beaches nearby, and fantastic restaurants. We were often the only ones at the pool. We walked to the best restaurants and the Ritz Carlton several nights for music, drinks, etc. Dave was responsive and accommodating with last minute requests. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place and would stay again if we return to Maui!

Kapalua Golf Villa

Excellent stay at the villa. Comfortable beds. Appreciated having several extra large beach towels to use at the beaches and also the nice beach chairs. Would definitely stay here again on a future return vacation to Maui.

This villa was just as advertised -- spacious, comfortable and clean! Beautiful location. We appreciated the property manager going above and beyond to bring us flashlights during the 24 hour power shortage. Would encourage the ower to keep flashlights, etc on hand for future power outages.

Enjoy our stay

The golf village has beautiful and quiet entertainment with walking distance to dragon teeth trail, Kapalua bay beach and kapalua tide pools. We also visit the north shore blow hole and the black rock area with short drive. Enjoy every day of our stay because of the facilities and helpful property manager. The washer and dryer are new and easy to use.The beds are comfortable. Please pack some tide pods, bodywash, dishwasher pods in your luggage because they only provide limited soap products.

Paradise

Beautiful condo, all the home amenities you need, disappointed with not having a key pad at the door, the pool code was changed in the middle of our trip, no one sent us a new code. Person upstairs woke us up at 3:40-4:00 every morning and was very loud.

Aloha Colleen, Mahalo for taking the time to leave us a review. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the amenities of the condo! I do want to clarify that some owners elect to have digital locks and some prefer to stay with the keyed locks, there are pros and cons to both. I'd also like to point out that we do stay on call 24/7 and in your pre-arrival/ information email, we do ask that guests call if there are any issues so we have the opportunity to try and remedy any issues that can arise. We'd rather know as soon as possible so we can provide a timely resolve, rather than hearing about them after the fact, in a review when its too late. Most of the time we can take care of issues when we are alerted about them. Again, please accept out Gratitude and Aloha, Dave Hailey

Location is awesome. Can’t beat the feeling life at a luxury golf course. Has an amazing beach in front of the golf course, but the condo is pretty far back from the beach. It’s better to drive to it. The condo had broken things here and there. Broken off handle to the blinds, badly burned pans, half the sheets on the beds were cotton, mixed with other parts polyester. Felt sloppy. The place felt/looked worn out. Master bedroom like a dark cave. There are 2 flights of steps to get down to get to condo - not mentioned. The host is minimally nice, and has more of a burned out “old guy” demeanor. He doesn't like communication through the app - so you have to actually call the phone number to get a hold of him for questions before booking. Front door has no key pad, so you have to keep track of actual physical keys. I reported burnt pans and missing boogie boards to him, and he replaced them same day, but some of it was coming from his own personal things, strange since he is the property manager, not the owner. Master bathroom had a wad of hair, and no shower door. Bath bats extremely slippery thin microfiber pads. My daughter and I both slipped on them, and got hurt and told him it’s important to replace them quickly, but he was indifferent to it. I had to tell him TWICE before he did anything. There was a huge dead cockroach in bathroom. Dirty dishes in cabinet. Unfriendly letter waiting for you at entrance counter as well. I would only rent here if no other option left.
