Dock and pier have no railings; flotation devices are strongly recommended for children.

Clear Lake wildlife is part of the charm — occasional visits from insects, birds, and critters are normal.

Ring security cameras monitor the driveway and back dock (for security and lake-level awareness only).

We had a great stay! The house was pristine and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. Our host was super helpful. We’ll definitely be back in the summer when we can enjoy the lake.

A lovely lakefront property in the heart of downtown Lakeport. Gorgeous outside space with everything a family could want......A great dock for fishing (our boys favorite pastime), life vests of every size, and paddleboards. Inside the kitchen is well equiped, beds cozy, towels fluffy. Decor is adorable. Multiple throws were much appreciated for watching the sunrise from the deck.

First Class Bass Fishing

The house was well appointed, on the lake, AC was on and the Bass were bighting. The communication was great throughout the entirety of our stay and everyone had a great time. I think I set the record on GalagaWill be back for some big ones during spawning.

Just Perfect

We had a wonderful stay on the lake. The house is so clean, updated, nicely decorated and has everything and more that you need. The pool table on the upper deck was a fun bonus and the hot tub was nice to relax in after a day on the water. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful.

We stayed at Amber's property over Thanksgiving. It was absolutely perfect- from the beautiful view of the lake, to the patio where our puppy occupied herself for hours, and the very well equipped kitchen- this place had it all! You won't be disappointed

Perfect Getaway

The Lake House was a perfect place to enjoy the lake and family. The outdoor seating was perfect for the views and to watch the wildlife. The dock was a must for the fishing boat. The house is updated and cute. We can’t wait to go back!

This is a beautiful home, right on the lake, and was a great place to stay for a weekend trip. The house is large, with amazing views of the lake, and a fully stocked kitchen. We especially enjoyed the 2-floor deck, and the long dock over the water. Everything was clean, and check-in was easy!

July 4th Fireworks

What a fantastic place to view the July 4th fireworks. The view from the dock and decks provided great seating to enjoy the show. The waterfront sunrises were a joy to view every morning with your cup of coffee on the deck.

Great location!

We had a wonderful time in Lakeport with our teen daughters and extended family. The lake and abundance of wildlife were beautiful. We enjoyed several stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balconies. The house is well kept and had everything we needed, including a few extras to make our dogs feel welcome. I liked that we were able to park our cars in the garage and in the gated driveway. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful getaway

We came here to celebrate our grandson's 21st birthday and it was wonderful - a bit cold with unexpected patches of snow but the house was totally comfortable and warm, It was a joy to wake up in morning to bright sunshine coming into upstairs living area and deck. The house is beautiful, well furnished and stocked - everything we could ask for. We look forward to coming back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the house, lake and surrounding sights. The hosts were also very helpful and attentive, which to our enjoyment of our stay.

Fabulous place to spend July 4th

We loved our time at this rental for Fourth of July. The layout was perfect for our group (two couples, one couple w/ two kids and two dogs). The private dock was a great place to relax and watch the amazing number of birds that pass through the area on the Pacific Flyway. It's a short walk into downtown Lakeport, which puts on a great party for the Fourth. We had nightly fireworks that could be perfectly viewed from the dock or one of the back patios. The kitchen was well appointed, and made it super easy to make breakfasts and dinners from the group. We spent a fun day on the Blue Lakes nearby with kayaking and swimming, and also recommend making the beautiful hour drive over to Marshall Redwood Grove.

Our favorite at Clear Lake

We really enjoyed our one week stay at the lake house. Everything met our expectations based on the photos and description. The view of the lake is amazing. The local birdlife is very cool. We watched a great gray heron building a nest nearby, saw ospreys catching fish, and laughed at the western grebes doing their mating dance. The house is very close to Disney boat and kayak rental which was a lot of fun. The fishing during the week that we were there was okay but a little disappointing. There are lots of carp around, but we didn't see many bass.

Cousin getaway

Time spent with family is priceless! Our trip was all about a few of us cousins taking a trip out to Lakeport to visit family we haven’t seen for some time. This property was so amazing with all the amenities we were looking for. House was beautiful with amazing lake views. 2 balconies really let you enjoy the outdoors with the perks of a pool table and tv on the upper balcony and a hot tub on the lower deck with a dock where you can sit and relax while taking in the Mountain View’s and water. All in all we give Amber’s lake house 5 stars and you will not be disappointed. Loved it here. We definitely want to come back!

Lakeport Summer Vacation

We had the pleasure of staying at this property with our teenage kids for a few days. The house was super clean and had everything we needed to make meals when we didn’t feel like dinning out. We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. Having our own private dock was amazing. We enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the beautiful sunrise over the lake. There is an issue with an overgrowth of algae at the lack, but Amber did her best to manage it. She had some folks come over to spray and push it away from the dock. Amber was very responsive and accommodating. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Great Family Home

This home is beautifully appointed and all the little extras make it a perfect place for a family. The amenities are well-suited to the space and everything is easily accessible. Our dog also did really well and the dog touches were unexpected but appreciated. The algae during our time was tough because of the heat, but we used the kayaks to navigate through it and enjoy the lake. You just can't do anything right by the dock or the house. All in all- very nice experience. Fun watching all the wide life, sunrises, sunsets, hot tubbing, playing games and Amber was super responsive and accommodating. Thank you!

The Lake. The Perfect Stay

Our stay at The Lake was absolutely incredible, and we were reluctant to end our vacation. The house was ideal for our family, impeccably clean with a perfect style. It offered ample gathering spaces, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Despite the heat wave, the house remained cool and comfortable. Moreover, the well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. There were numerous activities available to keep the whole family entertained, such as a pool table, games, and paddleboarding, among others. Each morning, we delighted in watching the sunrise from the deck, which overlooked the serene dock and the beautiful lake. One of the highlights was Disney Boats, which was conveniently within walking distance. We were able to have a boat with us throughout our stay. The location of the house on the quieter side of the lake was perfect for wakeboarding and towing the kids on a floatie with minimal water disturbance. We were also pleased to find various restaurants, Safeway, CVS, and even the Lakeport Speedway within walking distance. In fact, we walked to the Speedway on a Saturday. We couldn't get enough of the nearby attractions such as the charming bookstore, Renes, where we indulged in delightful malts and milkshakes, and Pogo's, where we relished scrumptious pizzas. All in all, we would definitely choose to stay at The Lake again without hesitation. It's a place we wholeheartedly recommend to everyone looking for a fantastic vacation spot.

We had a great stay! The place is amazing with many extra. Coffee was furnished, the furnishings were very comfortable but also gave you were at d beach house on an island somewhere! Amber was very quick to help with and extra needs ! The VRBO was wonderful! We will go there again?
