Bring your own kayaks and enjoy water activities right from private's beach. An easily accessible 150' private beach allows for convenience beach-combing, kayaking, bird-watching, fishing and peddle boarding. Or just plain relax and watch the world go by. This property comes fully furnished to sleep up to 6 people. You can also enjoy cozy, romantic evening by the wood stove. The Sunsets are spectacular and can be seen form the porch and the beach.

The chalet was everything we needed and more. Great location for short drive from Bar Harbor,, but we felt like we were away from it all. Everything was just as it should be. The chalet is perfectly set for relaxation and resting. The view s were great. We enjoyed watching the tides rise and lower from the porch as well as enjoyed some wonderful time on the beach. Don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy your morning coffee in the chairs on the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved our stay only regret as we didn’t stay longer.

We loved our stay- quiet location, private dock/ramp makes getting Kyak to water easy.Rented kayaks and delivered free of charge for our stay. Lots wildlife- Saw black bear on beach behind house and many deer. House was very clean.

The property is absolutely beautiful and clean. We loved the little blueberry chocolates that the host gave us. I highly recommend this property. Beds were super comfortable! I only gave 4 stars because the air conditioning didn’t really work. The first night, it kept turning off which we figured out thanks to the host, but even after that it still wasn’t enough to keep the house cool since it wasn’t central air.

As soon as we learned about the issue the following morning, we explained how to turn it off and offered to come over and assist. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was the right amount of room for my husband and me and our two teenage sons. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances were top-notch. The outdoor grill worked great as well. The deck overlooked Eastern Bay. We spent our afternoons and evenings on the benches closer to the water, where we saw seals and porpoises. The kayak launch was great for our rented kayaks. The bay was great to kayak on and spot more seals and birds. The cabin was an easy drive to the Hull Cove entrance of Acadia. Our stay was the perfect, peaceful Maine vacation.

Amazing Property

This cabin was perfect. Very nicely remodeled. The location is great being on the water and only 15 minutes outside of Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

Well cared for, clean, quiet and peaceful chalet on the water. Only 10 min to grocery store and short drive to all of Acadia attractions. Has dishwasher and washer dryer. Would stay again

Wonderful Vacation

We only stayed 4 nights but we could have stayed much longer. Very well appointed cottage with beautiful water views and a very secluded private beach. Great location also for convenience to restaurants and lobster pounds. Thanks!

Fantastic Property, Location, and Host

My family had a blast staying close to Acadia National Park in this wonderful property. The host was very responsive in questions that I had and she was being proactive during the trip to make sure we did not need anything. The property was as advertised and we enjoyed our time in the wonderfully appointed house and the time on the beach. Highly recommend this property and host.

Lovely stay

My family (2 adults, 2 young children) had a lovely stay in Bar Harbor! The home was clean and well-kept. Window a/c units were helpful in keeping the home comfortable during the July midday heat. Quiet and serene with easy access to town by car.

We really enjoyed our three night stay in this cozy chalet. The water views and sunsets were amazing! My teenage son really enjoyed going down to explore the shore/water every day. The property is well maintained and clean. The house was well stocked and is in a great location- not far from downtown and Acadia. The host was very responsive. We hope to be back again!

Amazing Chalet

We had a great stay here. The chalet was clean and well stocked. A great layout for our family of 4. The location is great and was convenient to both sides of the island. It is right on the water - you can even swim at the beach next door. If you have kayaks - bring them!

Just like Maine Cabin Masters!

Very authentic Maine cabin. Good location to kayak from or there is a ramp and access around the corner. We saw seals playing right out in the bay. Good to be in a quiet area but easy access to the park and Bar Harbor.

Amazing First Trip to Bar Harbor, Great Experience

My wife and I talked about taking a trip to Bar Harbor for years, and finally lined everything up for 2025. We looked at many potential places, but were very fortunate to find the Hummingbird Chalet property. The property was spotless, access to the private beach was great, the location was scenic but close enough to all Mt. Desert Island had to offer. We had a blast, including our teenagers. I'd book here again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much Vira for the wonderful experience.

Perfect Bar Harbor vacation

Our family of 4 (boys ages 11 & 13) had a wonderful vacation in Bar Harbor. Vira’s house is in a prime location on Hadley point. The sunsets on the point are spectacular! We were in town or the park most of the days but the location is super close and convenient! The house was so cute, cozy and had everything we needed. It was very clean and welcoming too. We would love to stay here again if we have the opportunity to visit again! Thank you Vira for a great stay!
