We loved the beautiful lake setting and drinking our coffee outside each morning. We enjoyed watching the deer that crossed the property. The house was cozy and charmingly decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The location was well suited for us to pop into Nashville a couple of evenings, yet not drive too far each day for some beautiful hiking.
Comfy cottage,Beautiful lake view!Family enjoyed Foosball Fun,fishing,kyacking,and just Being Together.Our Host was a Sweetheart.Nothing but Sweet Memories.🌄
Check in and communication was great, kitchen and bathroom amenities were nice, beds were comfortable and home was spacious.. nicely decorated as well.
Perfect spot for a quiet place to stay and bring your boat.
We stayed here during our daughter’s softball tournament in Hendersonville and brought our 25' wakesurf boat. The location was very convenient, and we’d happily stay again. Backing the boat and trailer into the driveway was tight but doable. The floating dock was great—our boat stuck out a bit, but it made lake access easy and relaxing. Navigating the lake was simple with the Garmin maps app, which is essential due to shallow areas and stumps. We enjoyed boat-accessible dining and I used the downstairs space for work calls. A bathroom downstairs would’ve been ideal, but the two upstairs were sufficient. The ice maker wasn’t working, so we brought our own ice. A/C worked well, especially at night. The Verizon hotspot provided solid streaming and calls, though upload speeds were slow—4K YouTube video uploads took a full day. The host is very responsive and knowledgeable of the area and the lake. We appreciated the keruig coffee maker and the stocked kitchen for making breakfast meals. We ate out most days for lunch and dinner or ordered pizza. Walking on the first floor throughout the house can be very noisy, but truly an amazing place to stay for the value. Be advised the boat ramp we decided to use at Cages Bend is not level which caused issues putting the boat back on the trailer, and it is tricky to get from the ramp out to the open lake as you have to avoid low spots and stumps. Make sure to use navionics maps. Nothing an experienced boater can't handle.
The 4 of us stayed (2 adults & 2 teenagers) and were very impressed with the property! Plenty of room for all of us, was very comfortable. The house was clean and had all the essentials we needed. The kayaks provided were a lot of fun! We paddled the lake and fished off the dock during the day, and spent our evenings in the living room watching Netflix. They also have a big basement with a couch and big screen tv, but didn’t use it much. Would have been great to use that space if we had more people stay. We highly recommend this property. The owners were quick to respond with any questions we had as well.
Stayed for a couple days, as my son had a HS bass fishing tournament on Old Hickory. Home was clean and comfortable!! Neighborhood was safe and peaceful. We didn’t get much time to enjoy the backyard bc of long days fishing, but home is right on the lake, has a covered dock, kayak’s, outdoor grill, etc…. Seemed like a great place to spend a few days in the summer!! Had a nice tv/game room downstairs with Foose-ball table. Owner was kind and provided timely response to all questions. Long drive way if someone had a boat and trailer, though I ended up renting a boat slip where tournament was held, just to make things a bit easier bc of the tournament, but plenty of room if towing a boat. Would recommend!
Such a charming and peaceful property! We loved watching the deer each morning and enjoyed the balcony view of the lakefront. The cabin was the perfect size for our family. Very clean and organized. The furnishings were comfortable and the decor was well coordinated. Beds were comfortable and provided restful nights. Bathrooms and kitchen very clean and well kept.
We also found the property to be in a great location and easily navigated. Roads are well kept and the distance to shopping and restaurants was convenient. Easily traveled to Nashville, Gallatin, and Mt Juliet for outings. We will definitely return to this site as often as possible! Host was available to answer some questions we had upon arrival and was most accommodating. Appliances were all in great condition and worked well.
This was the perfect house for our stay. Kids had so much fun swimming in the lake and hanging out down stairs. All the deer around the area was also pretty cool to see!
Our family of four (kids aged 8 and 14) stayed for seven nights and had a wonderful time. Even though the fishing didn’t quite pan out due to the heat. The location was absolutely perfect, offering plenty to do with fantastic amenities. Whether you want to explore the vibrant energy of Nashville or relax, eat and shop in the charming towns of Hendersonville and Gallatin—both just a short drive away—you’re perfectly situated to enjoy the best of both worlds. One of the highlights that truly made our nights special was the abundance of deer nearby. The host was incredibly communicative, the neighbors were friendly, and the house was spotless with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One important note we appreciated being warned about in advance was the presence of many branches and logs in the lake—something to keep in mind if you’re considering lakeside properties for retirement or future visits. While it did require extra caution while boating and tubing, it didn’t detract from the fun we had on the lake and swimming off the dock.Overall, a memorable experience—thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
We were very comfortable and relaxedOur daughter and adult grandson only visitedFor 3 days, but they also enjoyed it. Their visit was unexpected because a relative is dying. But it was very convenient t.accomoaccomodate
My family was in town to run the Rock N Roll half Marathon in Nashville and we chose to stay here to be out of the city and enjoy the Lake House. It was perfect! We went in to Nashville multiple times (If you're visiting with kids I highly recommend a trip to Pins Mechanical!) as the ride in is easy. We grilled in the evenings overlooking the lake while my 16 year old fished. We also checked out the day use area nearby. The house was great- clean, had everything we needed and perfect for our family. The Foosball table made for some fun entertainment. Adrian was extremely responsive when a few questions came up.If you're going to be there for some rainy weather or an extended period of time I would recommend bringing cards or a game. We always travel with cards and enjoyed playing on the deck while the birds were singing and overlooking the lake!
Us grow children took our mom a vacation and she had such a amazing time and really loved the home and fishing and all the beautiful deer thank you so much
My family enjoyed our stay very much. The neighborhood is wonderful. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the view from both upstairs and downstairs. If you have a boat, this was an ideal location because the dock was great. We did some fishing off the dock and enjoyed a kayak. Overall a good trip.
Beautiful neighborhood and property, the house was beautiful inside and out and perfect for our family of 6. The dock was nice to fish from and the backyard to the river was stunning!! Our daughter got engaged right there to her soul mate of 6 yrs!! It was perfect!! We highly recommend this beautiful place!!!!
