You'll also be treated to memory-foam mattresses, bikes, iPhone chargers, Ping-Pong, shuffleboard, TVs with Netflix, and pool and beach toys - all just 75 steps from the beach!

Multiple decks provide spectacular views. There are two decks for viewing the sunrise over the sparkling Atlantic and two decks for enjoying your favorite bottle of wine while watching the sunset.

Inside, find three levels of living space. Host family gatherings in the large kitchen, the separate dining room, and the spacious great room, complete with a classic shuffleboard table. Sit down to eat in the dining room or dine al fresco by the pool. Enjoy gorgeous wood floors, leather sofas, a satellite radio system with speakers throughout the house, free WiFi, and two primary bedroom suites (including one with a jetted bathtub).

Available activities include board games, books, shuffleboard, Ping-Pong, bikes, Netflix, DVDs, and water basketball for those non-beach moments. To maximize your stay, the owners have also created a three-inch book of local history, must-see events, and discounts for Dunescape guests. Beach chairs are provided for your comfort and enjoyment by the ocean. Direct public beach access is conveniently located a few steps across the street.

September Getaway

Our family (8 adults and 1 toddler) stayed at this home in September. It was a great location, so close to the beach, and had many amenities that we took advantage of like the beach wagon, chairs, and bicycles. The pool is not heated, so it was a bit too cold for our toddler to enjoy with the unseasonably cold rainy weather, but we did enjoy the hot tub. Lots of board games for the rainy days and just a short drive to the action in Virginia Beach proper.

Property was a bit isolated, with not much to do in The area. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. House was acceptable and had necessary amentities.

Great house for family vacation on a quite street!

We loved the house! Layout worked so well for our family of 8 adults and 5 grandchildren 5 and under. House very well equipped too. 2 fridges in kitchen and one in cabana was beyond wonderful for our crew! HVAC was great--house was so nice and consistently cool on the VA Beach hot summer days. Pool with cabana such a nice feature! Access to beach right across the street could not have been better. Quite neighborhood street was so nice for our family. Great week. Loved it all.

July 2022 initial stay at 2225 Sandfiddler Road, "Dunescape"

As good as it gets--the privacy of the lot; the close proximity of the beach and access via a planked walkway; and, the layout of the main floor which allows large family gatherings.
