About this property

This platinum unit is bright and welcoming! This unit includes a queen size bed, sleeper sofa, a Tv with DVR player, dishwasher, and washer/dryer combo. Also avaiable is a two burner glass cooktop, a refridgerator, coffe pot, toaster, and one full bath. This studio is located approximately one mile away from the main amenities. This property does not have a water view. There are no laundry facilities. Rented golf carts cannot be taken to this unit.

CANCELLATIONS/TRANSFERS. Requests must be in writing and received by a Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure rental agent. In the event Tenant must cancel this reservation more than 45 day prior to arrival, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of $50.00. Cancellations that occur within 45 to 15 days prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the total reservation charges. Cancellations which occur within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the amount of the reservation. NO refunds will be given for early departures or unused portions of packages.

HOUSEKEEPING SUPPLIES: There is a one-two day starter supply of items such as coffee packets, toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent (where appropriate), shampoo, and soap that has been supplied for your vacation rental. All towels, bath mats, sheets, and dish clothes are provided for the allowed occupancy number of each unit and there is no housekeeping service provided during your stay. If you run out of any starter supplies, you many purchase these at Apple Valley Market or Ingles Grocery.

Beautiful Getaway!

Checking in to the property was a bit confusing because of how spread out the resort is. Once arriving to the condo it seemed much bigger than the photos portrayed which was a huge plus! Only downfall was the old hag that is a permanent resident living beneath the rental. She stopped me out front and asked if they were playing soccer to which I replied no and she said, “well it’s awfully loud” in a rude tone. We have a 1 year old and 6 year old. Our toddler has a lot of energy and our 6 year old loves to imaginary play. Later that evening at 5:30 Pm security shows up to our door due to the old hag beneath us complaining about the “loud walking”. Keep in mind we didn’t play music the entire time we were there, the tv was never loud, just two young children entertaining themselves in the condo. It was highly annoying to say the least. 1st of all we’re on vacation and I’m not telling my two children they can’t play and secondly how do you tell a one year old he can’t walk loudly back and forth when he doesn’t even know what no means??? We simply told the security we were ignoring it and not letting our 6 year old even know what was going on and pretending like he didn’t even come. If the old hag doesn’t like children maybe she shouldn’t have picked a FAMILY resort or better yet a condo BENEATH someone else. I hope a bachelorette party stays at this condo and shows that Karen of an old hag what real noise is. :)
