About this property
Historic Oceanview Estate
Stay in a Santa Barbara Historical Landmark! Built in 1872, the house is a beautifully decorated example of San Francisco-style Italianate Victorian architecture. Sleep in a cozy sleigh bed with comfy linens. Bathe in a luxurious claw-foot tub. Indulge your inner-chef in the beautiful gourmet kitchen. Take in amazing ocean and riviera views from the cupola. It's like a private mini-estate, convenient to town, and walking distance to the beach, harbor, downtown shops, restaurants and wine-tasting. Enjoy the 1-acre private yard with huge trees, 2 fountains, and a reflecting pond. Soak up sun on the luxurious travertine pool deck with comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas. Cool off in a beautifully remodeled 40ft swimming pool. Unwind in a bubbling outdoor jacuzzi. Relax on the outdoor sectional couch which surrounds a gas fireplace table. Grill outdoors on the gas BBQ! There is a Sonos wireless music system throughout house, an alarm system and a safe. Guests will have access to the entire house and yard, with the exception of a few locked storage areas. A 31-day minimum stay is required. Property comes with beach chairs and an umbrella. The jacuzzi takes about 15-20 minutes to heat and is included in the price. The pool is not heated, however there is a solar cover that keeps it nice and warm in summer months. You can request that the pool be heated for the entire length of your stay. However, there will be an additional surcharge of $1500 per month to cover the increased utility bill.
