You are going to love Sparrowhawk House. The tidy yard featuring a gas fire pit and a shady patio with a Webber grill and outdoor dining that leads you into a chef’s kitchen, spacious living room, spa bathrooms and large, comfy bedrooms. The home is fully air conditioned. How is that for comfort?

The location is exactly right. A quiet residential neighborhood within strolling distance of a village that pulls out all the stops -- a main street lined with restaurants, boutiques, an ice cream shop, a shady park, historic riverfront, and a white-steepled 19th century church. There’s something so alluring about the small towns where so much history happened, and how so many things are still quaintly the way they always were. Not only can we see the three waterfalls and dams in Royal River Park and historical buildings, but Yarmouth is also home to the world-class Yarmouth Clam Festival in July, year-round sports and activities and most of all spectacular beauty everywhere you turn.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare delicious meals -- pots, pans, drip coffee maker, dishes, utensils, etc.
All three bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with a queen bed in each. The main bedroom is located on the first floor. There is a day bed in a den area at the top of the stairs.

Be aware - deep spa tubs in each bathroom. This is an older, historic farmhouse. (built in the early 1900's) although it has been completely updated, stairs are steep to the second floor.

Maine's largest city and foodie dream, Portland, is twenty minutes south and the outlet town of Freeport and LL Bean is just next door, a shopper's delight.
And don't miss this - Only 15 mins away. Take a walk around Mackworth Island since it is so close to your house. Mackworth Island State Park is a gem of the Casco Bay area. An island of about 100 acres, accessible by a causeway to the mainland, there are 360-degree scenic views of the ocean and Portland’s skyline, and so much to be enjoyed on this little piece of preserved land. Accessible by a causeway, Mackworth Island State Park is full of local wildlife due to its mixed-growth forest and location at the mouth of the Presumpscot River. As a legally-declared bird sanctuary, you can expect to see a wide variety of birds including turkeys, warblers, ruffed grouse, and thrushes in addition to racoons, hares, foxes, skunks and squirrels. Watch the boats cruise by through the harbor, admire the rocky coast, enjoy the Portland skyline, and keep an eye out for the island’s “fairy village,” which is a collection of tiny houses made from natural materials for the island’s magical creatures to call home.

Family time
We loved our stay! Family gathering where we could all be together. Great bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and outdoor space. We could have used a bigger table to eat at and a larger common area but perfect for 4-5 people.

Yarmouth, Maine House
Super cute house. The home was well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. Inviting outdoor space with lights and fire pit. The neighborhood is quiet and overall a great location. Communication with the host was awesome. I had a few questions and Liz immediately responded. My family felt comfortable and we appreciated the cleanliness of the home. Would recommend staying here.

Nice little house in a quiet neighborhood
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house overall is nice and we really enjoyed our 3 days there. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pan, plates and utensils. The outdoor patio with the hanging lights with a gas fire pit is nice. There was a minor issue in the house, ie the first floor bedroom door creak big time. It was be nicer if the kitchen table has 6 chairs instead of 4.

Great Stay but beware
This place was a great place to stay, but (as other reviews have stated) the stairs are difficult to climb and the entry to the shower/bathtubs is high. So if you are older, have a physical disability, or have young kids who may run inside, I would not choose this house. Also, the bathroom doors close but do not offer much sound privacy when it comes to bathroom noises. If you don’t have to worry about any of these things, this place is great! I would stay here again.
