I was scheduled to stay at the resort during my fall break, which also coincided with the hurricane. Initially, the host responded when I inquired about their safety. However, after several months of trying to communicate with the host, she has not responded to my inquiries about a refund or about honoring a future stay. I have read many posts from other people whose host reimbursed them their money since the resort was closed from the damage and nobody was allowed on the island.
