Newly listed and updated Victorian home located on Lafayette! With just a short drive or bike ride into Historic downtown Cape May, you will find this home has everything you will need for your vacation. This large home is complete with four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms with spacious gathering areas and can accommodate up to 14 people! The first floor has an open kitchen that flows into the dining and living rooms with easy access to the backyard area through the glass French doors. The first bedroom is on the ground level along with an attached full bathroom that is newly renovated. Upstairs are the three remaining bedrooms, one with an attached en suite and the hallway bathroom as well. Outside you will find a very large backyard area complete with a fire pit (tenant provides firewood), pergola and seating area, as well as a playground set up with swings right outside the back door. The yard is completely fenced in for your dog to enjoy too! This property has per pet fee, if you decide to bring your fury friend, which is not included in the rate. Ample parking for 5-6 cars. Multiple restaurants and bars within walking distance. Huge marina also just blocks away. Great town, great location, great price! Cleaning Fee applies to all rentals.Check in is 4 PM. Heat was Broken - Early March Rental

The house is amazing. Great location, great kitchen, fully renovated bathrooms. Loved the clawfoot tub. However, the boiler broke on our 1st day there. It was in the low 40s outside and the low 50s inside. We tried to get it fixed, but the owner could not. We had to leave early.

Great for large family!

This houes was perfect for our trip. The layout of the house allowed for privacy in each bedroom. There is a big kitchen and big table which was nice for our large family. The house was very clean when we arrived and the kitchen was stocked with almost every cooking ware you would need for a short or long stay. The backyard area was great and we got to see amazing sunsets from the yard. (It would of been that much better if the outdoor cushions were left for us to use) It was also nice to be able to bring our family dogs! Another plus was the front bedroom and bonus room. We had a 5 month old baby with us so we set up the crib in that front room and this baby slept through everything in there!!!!! I would rent this house again if my family plans another trip to Cape May!

Fantastic location, but the property not so great

The good, the location is awesome. 5 minutes to the marina 7 minutes to the beach via bicycle. The property left a lot to be desired. Broken toilet seat upon arrival, broken cover on recyclables container which they blamed us for. They claim pet friendly which is great, however the gates which could help keep your pets on the property and not run away didn’t work. Two gate doors one didn’t close properly, the second one was missing the latch altogether. There are no bath mats anywhere in any of the bathrooms. That makes for a very slippery shower situation. You must bring your own towels and sheets which is fine. There was no toilet paper in two of the bathrooms. The outside room which shows bunk beds did NOT have bunk beds. Be aware the cleaning fee is not included in the rental, we rushed to clean up at the end of our stay after realizing this but then the property owner claimed we left the home dirty and they kept some of our deposit. We left the property in the same condition we received it. This was quite disappointing. We asked for evidence of this and they sent us pictures of things that we had no part in doing. Stickers/paper stuck on the shelves in the fridge(which were there when we arrived), something in the tiny creepy room upstairs that NO ONE in my party stayed in. The broken recyclable container. My suggestion is if you rent this property take a picture of everything before you settle in. Otherwise you may be blamed for it after the fact.
