Disappointing

The location was very nice. But, this condo is old and has not been well maintained. Repairs and deep cleaning is required.

Soundfront condo

The location of this condo is lovely. Close enough to downtown Duck, but removed enough from the hustle and bustle. It is right on the water on the sound side and about a 10-15 min walk to the beach, depending on how fast your kids walk. The walk is pretty steep up hill, be advised. It is dated (but you can see that from the pictures) but perfectly serviceable for our family of 5. My only critiques would be to update some kitchen items (you have to hold down the toaster lever to make it work, no Keurig, no microwaveable dinner plates, LOTS of spoons but few forks, no empty cabinet to store food) and the carpet (it has that stale carpet-y smell like maybe there have been pets here before). My favorite part of every day of our vacation was sitting on the deck with my morning coffee looking out over the water or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset (BEAUTIFUL).
