Gorgeous Beach House on Vancouver Island

Located just 45 minutes north of Nanaimo, near Bowser, is picturesque Deep Bay. Our stylish beachfront home is located 2 km off Highway 19 and uniquely situated near the end of Deep Bay spit. The property is 100 feet of walk-on ocean beach front and offers spectacular views of Baynes Sound, Chrome Island Lighthouse and Denman Island.
The house has been completely renovated and is fully furnished. A spacious living room takes in the spectacular ocean views, and is tastefully decorated with a large leather sectional facing a 50-inch flat screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen features a new stainless appliance package including stove, microwave, dishwasher, side-by-side fridge with water and ice maker, and a large dining table. The home offers three bedrooms, two with comfortable king size bed and one with two double beds. The newly renovated master bedroom faces the ocean and has access to the front patio. The renovated five-piece bathroom features dual sinks. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer as well as a single bed.
Additional amenities include a WIFI, gas BBQ, outdoor shower, smart TV, and a variety of board games. All linens and towels are included.
The property offers several outdoor spaces to spend your day and take in the awe-inspiring sunsets and sunrises. Star gazing is amazing too! At low tide, a sandbar extends in front of the property providing the perfect spot for exploring the beach.
Watch the boats come and go, marvel at the soaring Eagles and enjoy the antics of the local seal colony. Bring your camera and capture the true beauty of the West Coast Lifestyle and its marine life.
For the outdoor enthusiast; visit any of the world class golf courses in the region, play tennis, comb miles of beaches, ski the hills of Mount Washington, explore nearby Strathcona Park, or take a day trip to Long Beach on the western side of Vancouver Island and experience Canada's best surfing.
The nearby marina provides a boat launch and offers the newly renovated Ship and Shore Restaurant just a short walk down the road.
Don't miss exploring the nearby communities as well, Campbell River, Courtenay, Comox, Bowser and Qualicum Beach. Shopping, fine dining and the famous West Coast hospitality will greet you where ever you turn.
Less than ten minutes away are the amenities of Bowser, including a grocery store, liquor store, hardware store, credit union.

Peaceful and beautiful

The best place I’ve ever stayed in my life! There is everything you need there.You can see sea lions swimming from inside of the house everyday, you can pick oysters and clams right in front of the house, we loved chilling at the front yard watching ocean. Our main purpose to stay there was to relax, and it was perfect.

We had a great time staying at the house. The wildlife out the back door was incredible. The kids loved playing in the rocks and around the corner at the sandy beach. The location is central for the North side of the island. We spent a day in Tofino and another day up near Port Hardy. Thank you!

We had a short stay here in February, with 5 adults and a 3 yr old. Great property, simple but clean and charming beach house, and beautiful natural environment with migrating birds, seals and sea lions in abundance. Would love to go back in the summer months.

Fabulous beach house getaway

This house was clean, well stocked and right on the beach. It is a bit out of the way (which is part of the charm of the location, right on a spit of land) if you run out of coffee, so make sure you stock up on all you need. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it made for some wonderful memories, thank you!

Wonderful Beach house!

My family and I loved our stay at the beach house - it’s in a central location on the island to many hikes and attractions. There were days that we just hung out and found sea shells, walked along the private beach, watched seals and went paddle boarding (we rented an inflatable paddle board for the week). The property was clean and the kitchen well stocked with everything we could need for cooking.

Picturesque and Relaxing

This is a beautiful house with one of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen! Especially at sunset! The house is comfortable and it's obvious the owner has put thought into equipping it with all the little things you may not have thought to pack. Excellent beachfront family house

We absolutely loved the location, layout and amenities of this house! Sea lions, eagles, seals etc were constantly visible from the living room, and long beach walks at low tide were a daily routine. The mid-century modern house was surprisingly spacious with large bedrooms and living areas - more than enough space for 6 of us. The kitchen was well-stocked, the house was very clean and nicely decorated. This was an awesome place to spend a family week getaway, with lots of good day trips in close proximity.

Deep Bay Beach Home

We enjoyed our Christmas break stay at the Deep Bay property. We caught the tail end of a storm coupled with a high tide which was fantastic. A short walk to the end of the road treated us to two mature eagles roosting on top of an old fishing trawler. Tidy and well appointed. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for such an relaxing experience.

Our lives away from the Beach house are very active. As Realtors we feel that this property is one of the best ocean front properties on Vancouver Island and spend as much time there as possible. The house is shared and enjoyed by family, extended family and friends and many memories have been made in this home away from home.

Why they chose this property

We wanted a place for our children to spend quality time with their grandparents and cousins and enjoy the magical and mystical Deep Bay Spit. Wildlife and ocean life come alive and many hours are spent boating, beachcombing and swimming.
