Communication with the host was very good. The linens were clean. The description should include that the home sleeps 4, 2 queen beds(?) and the other beds are in a 'shed/bunkhouse' in the back yard. There is only 1 bathroom. The main bed in the bunkhouse is a futon, which is probably a double and not very comfortable. This vacation rental needs some TLC.
This place has a ton of space for large families. With 2 bedrooms inside of the cabin and a full bunkhouse with a futon and couch. The amenities were a really nice touch. The beach is right there along with a little snack shop for all of your needs. The cabin is fully equipped with all the cookie utensils and pots and pans. The laundry service and towels was a nice touch. Outside there is a nice big back yard for kids to play and a bonfire pit for evening fires. It’s very close to other amenities with only a 3min drive to Winnipeg beach or 10minutes to Gimli. What an amazing experience for our family, we will certainly be back.

The house is literally steps from the beach.
It is very comfortable and practical for a family. The yard is huge and beautiful.The bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the house providing privacy.
Check-in is very simple and the owner is just a message away. He was very responsive and provided answers to all our concerns.
Good price, dishes were dirty, beds seemed clean and comfy, pet hair was all over in some places, the owner is respectful and nice when asking questions. Overall was happy about everything except disappointed in all the dirty dishes (food scraps still on some dishes).
Loved the closeness to the beach! We loved that our puppy had ACCESS to the beach and no signs against having dogs there. The cabin was nice but could use a hot tub. The only thing not so great was the second bedroom with triple bunk beds. I’m glad my daughter and boyfriend did not come as they never would have been able to sleep on them. Another queen bed would have been n better. But a great place and area. Thank you for the wonderful weekend!!
Property was as stated and accomodated us fine. Everything was in working order and the owner was very prompt about responding and making sure we had what was needed. The only down side of this and the reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was the kitchen was not entirely clean. Owner was contacted and was not aware of the issues, but said he would address with his cleaning person.

My favourite part about the Interlake is the variety of communities back to back from Matlock to Riverton. While Arborg, Winnipeg Beach and Gimli offer major goods and services there are several other communities all within a short drive of one another along the highway - year round!
What makes this property unique
This property is unique because of its proximity to the water without being on the beach. For renters this helps keep cost down. Our bunkhouse is properly fire safe and meets legal bedroom standards which is atypical for exterior rooming. Our triple bunk bed is a major highlight for families and friends!
