3119 Yellow House Guest - Almost Oceanfront!

Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present “Yellow House Guest Suite”, Pacific Grove! Guest house sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children.

Be lulled to sleep at night by the rhythmic sounds of the tide in this cheerful guest house a short walk from Pacific Grove's beautiful Lovers Point. You're so close to Monterey Bay you can hear the seals bark and watch the waves lap on the rocky shoreline from the living room, dining area and master bedroom. The walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium is an easy 5-10 minute stroll along the beautiful recreation trail. Also walk to restaurants and attractions of both downtown Pacific Grove, Cannery Row and New Monterey.

This special 700 sf 1-bedroom, suitable for a couple or a family with one or two small children, is located on the upper level above a garage and has its own separate entrance and private side and back yards.

This guest suite includes an open-concept living/dining room and kitchenette with a small convection/microwave combination and the living room has a TV. Well-equipped for extended stays.

Bedroom and Bathroom
The bedroom has a king bed and a TV.
A comfortable couch in the living room converts to sleep 1-2 children aged 10 and under.
The bathroom has a shower over tub and is accessed via the living space, not through the bedroom.

There is a shared washer and dryer in the garage which is also shared with any guests staying in the main house. The garage is not for parking cars. Parking for one car is in the driveway, More parking is available on the street.

A separate 4-bedroom 2 1/2 bath main house on the property is also available for rental. See #3118 for additional information.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.

All aspects of your stay will be taken care of by the the home owner, who will be your Guest Services Manager once your reservation is confirmed through Sanctuary Vacation Rentals' reservation team.

Charming cottage!

This cottage is spectacular! The pictures are accurate as described - very clean and much more spacious than you might think. The furnishings were charming and very comfortable. I wasn’t crazy about the white fabric on the sofa because I was constantly worried about spilling but it was fine and it added a bright spacious feel to the room. I wanted to take the bed with me it was so comfortable and tons of closet space! The kitchen had everything you needed and the dining area was a perfect size. The bathroom was sparkling clean with plenty of towels and accessories. It was really a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it. Annee, the owner, went above and beyond helping me with the area (I was looking for a permanent residence). While I never had the pleasure of meeting her she was just a phone call away and was always timely, accommodating, and friendly. There is an off street parking space that you’ll be very thankful for and the photos are true – walk to the beach! We were blessed to be there during pupping season so we got to see the otters and their babies on the beach. The walking trail that goes all along the beach is right outside your door. It would be quite a walk into town so driving is more practical but the restaurants are fabulous. Try Holly’s Lighthouse for breakfast. You won’t find friendlier service or better food anywhere…and my husband claims they make the best pancakes on the planet! For dinner we enjoyed Montrio (downtown Monterey) and Fandangos’ (PG) best. We loved the town of Pacific Grove and ended up choosing a place there. The people are friendly and the town is postcard quaint. It’s a great rental and fantastic area.

Our daughter and her fiancee were having a destination wedding in Monteray. The location was beautiful and provided plenty of room for all the pre-wedding work that had to be done. But morning walks along the beach allowed ample opportunity for clearing our heads and relaxing. The central location gave us easy access to all scheduled celebrations. After rental, all communication seems to be with owner. The check out list wasn't printed and available on site. I was supposed to receive it and print it before coming. This however, was not my top priority. The only complaint was that we had a lot of trash (we were getting ready for a wedding) and that seemed to upset the owner a little. But we will definitely rent this house again if the opportunity should arise for a vacation in Monteray.

VERY comfortable accommodations and excellent location - we walked almost everywhere with our double stroller. We had breakfast at home every day and cooked dinner there three nights; it's nice to not have to eat every meal out with a toddler and a baby... The Guest House was very clean and well appointed, had a comfortable bed and lovely view. We would love to stay there again!

I wish I could give the location a 10! 5 min walk from the Aquarium / 10 min walk from Lover's Point beach. A quick drive downtown to great restaurants. You could open the windows at night, turn on the fire place, snuggle in a blankie and just relax. My husband and I had our 2 year old with us and it was plenty of space for her to play but still easy to keep picked up. The bed is SUPPER comfy. I'm 6 months pregnant and I slept really well. All in all we would love to make this stay an annual family trip. Thumbs up 100%!!!!

The location was perfect with a short walk to Cannery Row and we loved being across the street from the beach. Every day we walked along the beach and the large grassy area was great for our 17 month old daughter to run around and explore. The cottage felt like home and had everything we needed. It was great to have a washer and dryer too. This is a great spot - close to the touristy areas, but nice and peaceful.

(No coffee, nothing in cupboards). Wifi service very marginal. Very late checkin and very early checkout. Signs and messages about extra charges, like if you make their cleaning staff wait as you depart, is the sort of thing to expect from a place that is run solely for revenue generation and managed by a firm. This is what the place is: it is not a vacation rental by owner, despite that we found it on VRBO. Plastic flowers for decoration - really? Will look elsewhere next time.

Great location!

This house is a great location. The apartment was clean and well done. It is comfortable and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen reasonable stocked...but we did no real cooking. You can walk many places. Very close to aquarium...but we loved just walking along the ocean ...day and night.

We couldn't be happier with our recent stay at the Yellow Guest house. My wife and I were in town for a wedding and loved our stay. The unit is in a perfect location. Pacific Grove is far enough away from the busy Cannery row that you feel secluded and relaxed but close enough to walk if you would like to. Literally steps away from the coast. The unit was clean, good size for a 1 bedroom, stocked with everything you would need for a short weekend or even a long stay. The owners and rental company were great at responding quickly to any questions that we had. Would highly recommend this property.

Very clean, plenty of room for 2 and terrific location!

We enjoyed it very much...It was furnished very nicely and plenty of everything to use, such as, towels, soap, dishes, pans, glassware, coffee, salt & pepper, etc.. The only thing I would suggest is to have two trash cans in the kitchen since you want us to take out the trash on Thursday for Friday pickup and is necessary to divide glass and paper, etc. We enjoyed our stay very much and so nice meeting the owners! Cute little place, well-equipped, very centrally located.

We had a lovely time in this little guest house by the water. It was modern, clean and very comfortable. Best of all was the location. Easy walking and bike riding to so many great attractions. Would definitely stay her again.

Great Location!

We had a great time at the Yellow House Guest Apartment. Easy walking distance to the Monterey Aquarium and stopped to see the new Harbor Seal Pups on the beach along the way.

Loved It

The location could not be more perfect. One house away from the water. 12 minute walk to the Aquarium and Cannery Row. Walking distance to town (Pacific Grove). Biking trail along the ocean to Monterey or the Lighthouse/Asilomar/Golf course. There is a view of the water from the bedroom. The property is charming and very well maintained. Furniture is comfortable and heater works well. We were lucky in that no one was renting the house at the time. We were in the apartment over the garage. The owners live in town and are very accessible should there be a question. The stay was perfect, enjoyable and we would definitely recommend the property.
