Want to experience what makes Austin weird and wonderful? Stay in this zen home in the wooded Cuernavaca neighborhood, less than a mile from the lake and an easy 15 minute drive to downtown Austin.

This stunning modern home is nestled into the tranquil Lake Austin Estates neighborhood. Enjoy Lake Austin and everything it has to offer. A short 7 minute walk to the community park for swimming, relaxing, bbq, water skiing, boat ramp and more. Sit in the zen casita in the garden under the shade of the over 200 year old oak and enjoy the Nature. This is a quiet, friendly neighborhood close enough to the vibrancy of the city, but with the peace and quiet of Texas Hill Country.

This meticulously cared for home has so much to offer and we would love to continue to offer it to many more travelers. We are happy to share this home with you and ask you take great care of every aspect inside and outside the home. Please do not have more than 8 people at the home at all times. The home only sleeps 4 people and we ask that no more than 4 stay the night at any time. This quiet neighborhood is inhabited by many non- travelers and we ask you Respect Thy Neighbors. All pets MUST be approved.

Great house with fantastic backyard!

We rented this house for a week awaiting closing on our new house. We loved the neighborhood (there’s a great restaurant named Patrizi’s close by that was wonderful!) and enjoyed the families of deer that slept in the yard! Overall the house was perfect for what we were looking for. Highly recommend.

Nice spot, some work to do

House is in a nice spot, easy walk to the river. But don't stay in this location if you can't deal with mosquitos LOL. Communication with the owner was very easy, and he was very accommodating to our needs, which was appreciated. – upgraded our internet for the duration of our stay - provided 2 desks for us to work at - twice monthly cleaning a few downsides: - house needs somemaintenance: shades don't work properly in 2nd bedroom, and air-conditioning randomly gets very stinky at night which wasn't able to be fixed during our 2-month stay. - practically - if you're washing clothes, there's nowhere to hang your laundry unfortunately, which sucked, since we were there 2 months. - cleanliness - they have a roach problem they need to address.

Beautiful location & home. House appeared to have not been clean when we arrived. There were cameras on the outside of the home that were not disclosed. For the most part, good communication with the property owner. My husband had an uneasy feeling with the booking which led to us leaving very early,

Stylish and zen paradise

Amazing property. It’s only 2/2, but feels MUCH bigger. We lived here for a month, and it was fabulous. The natural light, the trees out back - beautifully lit at night - the thoughtful layout, the style… just great. Also the neighbors are awesome and the lake park within walking distance is a gem. Amazing host - SUPER responsive and helpful. You’ll love it here.
