Fun in the Berkshires

The house was cozy and close to all the Berkshires had to offer. Our entire family (dog included) enjoyed the space.

Beautiful home but limited functionality

We really loved the design and the atmosphere at this beautiful home. Everything was tasteful and well placed. However, we encountered a few issues that somewhat soured the visit: 1. The instructions for the indoor gas fireplace were unclear. After two requests for clarifications, we gave up (at some point we were instructed to find the main gas valve downstairs and we didn't want to risk it) 2. The water in the hot tub were murky and had a funny smell. We asked for it to be cleaned or to be instructed on how to clean it. Our requests were answered slowly, so only on the last day were able to use it, after a few hours of repeatedly adjusting the chemicals and expelling some of the water. Not something we think the guests should be handling, especially not at the price quoted for our stay. 3. Window in downstairs bedroom is not installed properly in the rails and therefore cannot be opened. 4. outdoor fire area has no outdoor lighting, which means that you can only sit around the fire in pitch dark. To summarize, the property has a ton of potential but efforts to make it more comfortable and guest-ready should have been made.

Nice and quiet place!

Lovely home and surroundings. Owners were thoughtful and there was utensils and to-go containers. Nice jacuzzi and overall, clean, relaxing weekend in this home. There was prompt response from owners when we needed help. Would recommend!
